The NHS is no longer care from cradle to the grave. It’s all about the money now.

Unfortunately shooting down staff who raise concerns is systemic in the NHS. Brushing them under the carpet, ignoring and treating those who raise concerns as “problem staff”. Poor management who spout freedom to speak out don’t actually want you to do it, so staff keep their heads down. I’ve been fighting my department like this for the last 16 years alone. Cultures of cronyism and sycophantism is rife and poor staff get away with bullying multiple staff into leaving. It’s like fighting the Sante fe ring, with poor managers protecting each other and the unprofessional staff.

And the same thing happened again between 2020 and 2022.

I guess no one will be interested in that, because it's all so "baffling!"

Writing this in August 2023 after the Lucy letby. i’m not saying hospitals will be full of people like letby but whenever I encounter people who work in the NHS, I’m quite stunned by the lack of caring in their personality.

The NHS is so powerful it is untouchable. The whole system is failing and it goes right up to Government who pull the strings.

Doctors shouldn't think they're God's, some how they did on this occasion. Wow you horrible discussing group of low level beings. Your action are beyond belief. Your all a different breed of animals. My heart goes out to all the beautiful victims.

The examples referenced had very little to do with doctors. It wasn't about medical errors, it was about people being left in their own filth, left to develop bedsores and deteriorating.
