I think this is what we will miss most, basically Paul O'Grady being Paul O'Grady. After Lilly he simply became his normal self and his warmth was infectious, may he rest in eternal peace. Condolences to his daughter family and friends.

That’s how a funeral should be. Less of the tears and lamentations that the person is gone but more of a celebration of their life and what was so brilliant and funny and wonderful about them. Be happy that they lived, not sad that they’re gone. They’re in a better place, as the saying goes.

It is normal to be sad and cry when someone dies. It is a compliment to them. I would hate to think that people only laughed at my funeral. Grief is real and it is a true sign of love for the deceased. The idea that everybody should "have a good time" at a funeral is so disrespectful.

I've watched this many times and it always makes me laugh so much. I cannot believe that Paul has died. He was an absolute legend. One of the funniest and kindest souls. I'm sure him and Cilla are now reunited and hellraising once again. R.I.P Paul. A very sad day today. Absolutely gutted.

It’s a bit morbid but I’ve always remembered this eulogy. It was such a gorgeous tribute to his friend and really summed up who he was as a person. I truly hope he’s lucky enough to be the recipient of a eulogy as incredible as the one he gave his dear friend Cilla ❤

I was never a big fan of Cilla's, but I remember back in the early eighties I was going with a girl from Aberdeen and the capitol at the top of Union Street had an evening with Cilla Black.She told some good stories about Frankie Howerd and sung some classic songs.
