In fact, this strategy was never new at all... they said it publicly for years, and did it in 2014. Many believe that Hamas did that for "fun" to "terrorise" Israel.... the reality is far more logical and imminent due to current harsh circumstances in which Palestinians live, refugees since 1948 and the rest of the plight... What comes with violence and continues with it, ultimately will end with violence, RESISTANCE . Anyway, They got what they wanted : over 1100 Palestinians, most of them are minors and women, but it includes ~120 Palestinians of high charges in phase 2 of the deal .... They kinda got what they wanted... but at a heavy cost.
