Mina I was wondering how you let the track hug the ground so tightly and smoothly. Do you have any tips for me to make that element easier to accomplish?

It takes a lot of time to make it that smooth, so i think there is no easy way. I would say try different ways to get a Feeling for it and seach the way it works the best for you. In my case i build the track on a plane map without knowing how the Terrain will look like in the end. i only had the idea to make something Arctic. after i was happy with the track i started to smooth it and ride it alternately to see if it's smooth enough and some difficult parts i didn't get smooth i build with the 4m track-element trick over the old track so i have the same way as before but can smooth it more. there is a Video from silverret on KZbin that explain the trick good, if you don't know it. after that i build the Terrain and the ideas for all the Caves and holes Comes to me during Building. don't know if that helps but it's very time consuming to make it that smooth. I build every day on this one for three weeks in total.

Great terrain and decorations. Nicely done. Airy, light and whimsical are a great way to describe it. Everything in it is smooth and it feels like you are gliding on the track and not really riding the track. it just all works very nicely.

Dang, this one of the few coasters that I'm actually disappointed doesn't exist IRL. Not only the smoothness/elegance, but the functionality of a rollercoaster (the loops, the banking, the drops, etc...) that usually exist as a primary purpose of a roller coaster with everything else just ....neat add on, this one actually made those elements feel as much a part of the 'everything else'. In other words, a coaster who's function existed as a vehicle for the experience, rather than being the experience, all while still being very much a coaster. Kinda blown away by this.

So Johnny just posted a week ago on his Patreon page this message: Returning to KZbin soon! One final update on my KZbin schedule. I was really shooting to return for the 12th of August. I have so much work still left to do, and I need a bit of R&R time to avoid coming back and being completely burnt again. So August 19th, gives me another week to finalize all the videos on the go. So that's when you can expect to see videos start rolling again! Totally agree that this is a superbly done and super smooth coaster. Love all the details and finally a different song was used that felt perfect for the experience. Those sky tram cars are beautifully done. The only thing missing would have been a great icicle cave.

This is so wonderful! The coaster design is smooth and graceful. The scenery is remarkably beautiful (absolutely love the juxtaposition of that glass lift tunnel and the brilliant snowflake light caves). There's enough unique elements and inversions that make the coaster feel realistic and not over imagined. The choice of song and colors also feels peaceful and I felt swept away into a snowy wonderland. Great job!

This is so great. The choice of music is perfect (I never heard that song in planet coaster before) and all in all this coaster creates such a relaxed, dreamlike atmosphere. Really meditative yet still exciting to see all the cute stuff you're passing by during the ride. I love it.

What's happened to this once awesome channel? What's going on with Jonny? Why hasn't there been any new videos in a long while now? I was really hoping to see Jonny and the others go over the most recent update additions, and now we have the coming Ghostbusters add-on. I'd really hate to see this channel die when it was moving along so well.

i know he took a break but with 79K subscribers, they should have had the team continue it. While I understand folks needing a break, if you have the staff of five or so folks who share the narrations...someone should have picked up the "slack" while Johnny is gone. The discord is even in disarray. It's been several weeks and I still cant get in. I just subbed elsewhere. Geekism channel is an awesome alternative for Planet Coaster and the new Zoo game (as well as Ghostbusters)

I really enjoy your planet coaster videos imma have to go thru and like them all and comment something on them all but i have watch mosted of them and when i get my pc back im definitely going to use some of your and other gamers really great ideas plz make more maybe do a rollercoaster that goes all the way around the park and maybe have it corkscrew around the bridges/tram lines and maybe have it go thru an underground volcano with a whole other park under the existing park and hell maybe even a sky park

@@AnnahHinman From what he has posted in the Discord server, he had a bit of a burn out. He has said he wants to continue making videos, but hasnt given a time frame yet. Not sure if the Discord mods can accept new members while hes AFK, but the server still seems alive. Jonny mentioned theres a huge backlog of messages he has to get through, so I'd imagine he is working his way through it slowly.

Great work, first flawless track of this entire contest, very well adjusted speed, great duration, very well adjusted to the terrain. Great air time. Awesome job on banking, ups and downs, as well as inversions. Scenery is very good looking, especially that cave with giant glowing snowflakes(or flowers!), and the custom figures of polar bears, dogs and esquimalts, and the igloos. The lift hill looked very good. Well done on theme and colors for the track as well as scenery. Good job on the trigered events/animatronics. Awesome looking station. Very good job on terrain sculpting. Very well done on custom building, with a special note to the telepheric. All the bridges are looking awesome! The down side are very few to this one: this being the repeated structures, and the music that was possibly a bit too smooth. As well as it may have benefited with just a few more natural scenery pieces, especially trees. I also tought that some of the track was missing supports. Of course, my loving of winter give me a twisted look on this one, cause immediatly my heart to beat faster on the opening moment, simply by looking at the winter theme. Thanks a bunch for building this one, and of course, for entering this contest. Overall rating: way above average, almost awesome!

Hi I have a park which I made which I was quite impressed with. I would like to send it in but I do not know how to send it in so I will just put it on the steam workshop. If you pick my creation for a park spotlight my steam name is Brunningc and the park is called intergalactic island. If you chose it I would just like to say. Hi Johnny this is my park intergalactic island it would be located in the UK inspired by Thorpe Park. I am only 12 so it will not be the best creation you have ever seen but I think it is good enough for your channel there are six roller coasters and 5 flat rides at the park. This is modelled off a realistic park and the coasters are called Black Hole ,mission one ,UFO ,Apollo 21 ,Shooting Star and a new universe. The only ride with a backstory in the park is Black hole which is “you are in a ship trying to save people from earth as the black hole is sucking everything into it but you realise evading a black hole is easier said than done as you have to avoid debris while not being engulfed yourself” also try and find your car please pick my park it would be great thanks edit: I also uploaded an updated version if you pick this download that one
