Randomly this video found me…Hecate came to me over a week ago didn’t really know who she was but it’s been non stop and truly amazing. This video made me cry in a good way…it was confirmation. Would love for you to share more on her please. Wow!!! This made me cry! A good cry! Thank you very, very much for sharing. It really hit home. After my mom passed away last November, I did a tarot reading and I just broke down and basically asked “where do I go from here now that I don’t have my mama?” I did not know anything about Hekate, but I drew her card and the card basically said that Hekate will always be here for me always as a mother figure. I don’t have to fear. The reading also said that if I don’t know about Hekate then I should start looking into her. It was a truly magical, transformative experience.

Thank you for sharing your story! That is so beautiful. She has been a mother to me for sure. I don't know anyone who works closely with her who hasn't found healing in it. I hope you did as well.

Hekate has come up a lot lately on my social media, it makes me feel like she is calling me - but from what I have read of her I am a scaredy cat!! I was involved in a Cult like Christian religion (through my family) for a long time, which gave me severe PTSD plus trust issues, and now the thought of becoming involved with a deity really freaks me out... maybe one day I will seek her wisdom out...

I had a similar upbringing so I understand what that's like. I think the most powerful part of working with Hekate is she's all about you finding YOUR power. I've had her tell me that I'm relying too much on her and to look inside myself for what I need. There's a lot of fear mongering about Hekate and when I first got called by her my only witchy friend went pale when I told her. She's portrayed as this big scary dark goddess who will punish you quickly but I've worked with 4 deities closely and she's the one who was always forgiving. I've forgotten to give offerings I promised and forgotten to remove offerings, plenty of things like that. Other deities weren't so pleased with my inconsistency but she met me with compassion and told me that there's no reason to be hard on myself. She knows I do my best and have good intentions and that's good enough for her. Her biggest lesson is healing those deep wounds and she cares more about you honoring yourself over honoring her. That being said, take your time and decide if it's right for you. When/if it's time you'll know.

@@azebhayes1438 Thanks for your feedback! I'm such a fan of chaos magick! I think most of what I practice is very similar to a chaos magick vibe, myself. The only rule is there are (almost) no rules. I think the best creator I've found who talks about chaos magick is Ivy the Occultist and I highly recommend her. Her content is incredible.

November 16th is called Hekate's Night. It's one of her holidays. Some also celebrate her on the dark moon and the 30th of every month.
