You drew one card off the confluence, but you're right, it's bugged apparently.

+Bryan T Same thing happened to an opponent of my mine. Barely noticed, wasn't sure till reading this.

Yep, Wretched Confluence is bugged. When you drafted it I was wondering if this would come up.

Would it not have been better to just bounce back the monument making his creatures lose flying?

Hahaha, secure the wasted. That's what my friends have to play against me if I've been drinking during our games.

I don't think I'd ever cut bitterblossom against an agro deck. Even if you just chump with the faeiries every turn, it prevents a lot more than 1 damage a turn.
@slapp53578 жыл бұрын
Think about not having it in your opening hand. It's a very bad top deck when your opponent is swinging for massive amounts with many creatures each turn.
@ogolthorp8 жыл бұрын
Sure. But most things would be a bad topdeck in that case. But it's incredibly strong in the first 4 turns. Even against an agro deck.
@slapp53578 жыл бұрын
+ogolthorp Removal? Good topdeck. Mass removal? Excellent topdeck. Planeswalker? Good topdeck. Big creature? Good topdeck. Confluence? Good topdeck. Also, having almost no mean to get rid of it himself and just Sorin as a source of lifegain, it would slowly kill him.

Why the main phase Doomblading?
@GoldenWowProductions8 жыл бұрын
+TheKillerManfred You don't want it to attack, and you don't want to run into mana tithe or something. Other than that, what's the point of waiting?
@Spaccaspecchi8 жыл бұрын
Voidpaw The opponent can still play something that might be more of a threat. Certainly the chance for that is higher than an aggro deck running Mana Tithe. But I agree with you, there are very few plays he could have made that would not result in him destroying the attacking creature, anyways. Still, more knowledge is always better.

if you right click on the card in your hand and choose the modes it works fine. if you only have 1 mode it does that
@clelvis2258 жыл бұрын
Actually Reid, this isn't even the best mulligan decision I've seen you make on a CFB video...about a year ago in a legacy cube draft posted on CFB you took about three minutes going over why a certain hand was a mulligan...and I commented on that video that the decision you made is what separates good players like myself from great players like you....
@afgeaj18 жыл бұрын
+clelvis225 Well said. Not sure if I am thinking of the same video, but I remember a very similar situation in a BFZ draft around December 2015. Round 1, Reid made an extremely disciplined mulligan+scry to the bottom that I too commented on. I distinctly remember saying to myself as soon as I saw the scry, "top". Reid bottomed. We all know how the rest of this story goes.
