As someone who was born in 94', I loved watching all the Nickelodeon Klasky-Csupo cartoons. Rugrats, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberrys, Rocket Power, As Told By Ginger, All Grown Up, I grew up with them all. Part of me even wanted to see an All Grown Up/Wild Thornberrys crossover like the movie, The Rugrats Go Wild! just to see what the Thornberrys would look like 10 years after their first crossover. Donnie, specifically.

It’s so interesting that Rocket Power and Spongebob were pitched to Nickelodeon at around the same time and Rocket Power is a nostalgic relic of the late 90’s early 2000’s while Spongebob is still airing new episodes weekly to this day in 2021.

They showed the pilot to the voice actors…. We recorded the first episode. Then they brought us in to see the art, and watch the first episode… it was like a “Real World” type of show, with character intoroducrion. It was awesome!!!

Definitely a cartoon that reflected the 1990's early 2000's "extreme" pop culture. But never was offensively bad like some of Disney's attempts on "extreme" style shows. It was something to watch when there wasn't anything else to watch on TV. What made it bearable to watch was the likeable characters. The show had a good run, but I don't think it should be revived. It just wouldn't be relevant in today's society.

I don't know about reviving the show. Remember Arlene Klasy is the reason Rugrats took a dive in quality after season 3 save for the 3 specials. But we did end up getting the show Recess because of it.
