The thing that blew my mind in to oblivion was the 2 frames where the Ice King turns in to a skeleton. I didn't realize it the 1st time I watched, but with how Prismo explains the wishes, that that's Finn & Jake's original universe and the Lich's wish actually worked. Or at a minimum they were in the Lich's wished universe and that's the original Lich from the time room that didn't get duped in to sending Finn & Jake home. Either way, he actually succeeded. It wasn't simply undone when Jake made his wish.

Truly the best show I ever did see thus far. I’m amazed on how they did a multiverse season on this show and the original Fiona and cake are much different from current Fiona and cake we see now. also the fact that they went from non canon to canon makes it 10 times more better in the end. I’m honestly hoping based off this ending we see a second season since Fiona’s new world now is all magical. If this series was a once in a life time season and is over forever then I’m a bit sad they are not continuing this. I’d love to see more of this show having the very least a second perhaps a final season sometime in the summer or fall of 2024

I think winter king world is a universe where simon didnt love betty or met her, events still played out but he was more anger and corrupt. Thats why he doesn't recount the same feeling towards betty like simon did, that world could even be the timeline shift when betty changed her ticket time so she can go on that trip instead of meeting simon thus creating that universe

Fiona and Cake's world is stuck in the 90's and seem to be based on Seattle which means that's what Ice King remembered while he was under the influence of the crown, maybe the mushroom war took place in the late 80's early 90's, Also Cheers takes place in Seattle

I can't tell you how much I loved this series (or first season, hopefully?)! It was another new take on familiar themes and characters, like Distant Lands, but went so much deeper into the emotional beats of the main series (excluding Together Again). I never really liked Betty that much, but I really appreciated that she and Simon had closure. In some ways his arc is a lot like Marcy's in "Stakes" where they both confront their past so they're able to learn and grow from it, but I especially liked that Betty mentioned they both could've done or said things differently too and they're both able to keep going forward in their new lives. I also really liked the overall finale, it's open ended enough so more seasons are possible, but if not, we can see everyone happy and content. Even poor ol' Scrabby, the Dwight Schrute of cosmic entities.
