Craig didn't actually give the show his blessing, they just said he did. Craig said on his twitter that he did not and doesn't support the reboot. Something along the lines of that he was disappointed that they did it, that it was out of his hands, and that he understands why they did (for marketing purposes)

When it comes to Craig McCracken, I like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends much, much, much more than the Powerpuff Girls. I will explain more when I comment about Foster's, but I will say now that my love of Foster's gave me quite an appreciation for the Powerpuff Girls. I even watched the 2002 movie on KZbin, and although I am troubled by all the hatred people had for those girls at first, I like how the movie serves as a prequel to the series as a whole. There were a few episodes of the actual show I liked as well, partially thanks to Cartoon Planet, but when it comes to the show itself, it's about the same as Dexter's Laboratory. I do like this project better than Dexter's Lab, but not as much as Foster's. As for the 2016 reboot, I have seen a couple of episodes, but lately they made me wish more and more that I could see the first show again. I'm not saying I hate the reboot, in fact, I think the reboot is okay, it's just a feeling of nostalgia.

Honestly, I liked that aspect of the movie, I mean it was kind of justified, they did destroy the city, it'd be weird if they didn't address collateral damage. It was almost a Superman vibe, except there was no Lex Luthor to capitalize on it. The only problem I had was the Professor loosing faith in them. That went against the whole point of his character (50's sitcom dad.) It would have better if he'd picked them up and convinced them to clean up their mess. That's pretty much what happened in the end anyway, so they only would have had to change one or two scenes.

True story: When I was younger my dad sister and I sat down and watched the powerpuff girls on a DVD. We looked at the special feature and saw the whoop ass girls episode and decided to click it. Well let's just say my dad said to us that night, "don't tell your grandmother" 😂

schemar laforest Okay, well maybe it's not THAT bad, but I just don't like the animation and it looks kinda cheesy. And I'm not a big fan of shows where the main character speaks to their viewers. To be honest, I don't know why Nicktoons are giving us all these crappy new shows: Pickle and Peanut, Counterfeit Cat, Bunnicula etc I wish instead of making new shows all the time, they should just make good new episodes of popular old shows. Except for Spongebob. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy watching Spongebob, but the new episodes are cringey as hell.

Bubbles has always been my favorite. The episode where she learned she could talk to squirrels always cracks me up. One of my favorite episodes was where the show did an homage to the Beatles. All the villains teamed up and renamed themselves " The Beat-alls." It had references to multiple Beatles songs, and Mojo Jojo had a girlfriend spoofing Yoko Ono. Hilarious stuff! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Actually in the Brazilian dub, their names translate to: bubbles - lindinha : pretty/cutie , blossom - florzinha : small flower and buttercup - docinho : sweety. Also the name of the show is "As meninas super poderosas" : The super powered girls :)

+RoselynFlame she and Reggie Rocket were my role models. They taught me that girls can be gorgeous, smart, sassy and tough. Blossom is really one of a kind and the most underrated Powerpuff girl.
