Ms Bellum was OFFENSIVE??? She was a strong female character with a lot of intelligence and a kind heart--hell, her name was a play on Cerebellum (Sarah Bellum), a part of the brain! Her face was never shown in order to play on the fact that the media and society always focuses on women's bodies instead of their heads and personalities! She was a beautiful character and the fact that they cut her out really sells the fact that they have no idea what made PPG great.

Even if they argue they just did for some kind of feminist BS, if there were three little boys doing that instead, I would be just as disturbed. It's the fact that these are little kids under 13 years old. They're not even teens, they're just little kids. They remain just slightly out of kindergarten. These are kids. And what the hell kind of ass backwards feminist policies do you have to have in order to completely remove a strong and likable woman just for having large breasts but still at three little twerking as something cute and acceptable? in January (Feb, or March) of 2016, I was walking out of my living room when I heard a commercial talking about the ppg reboot. I hadn't seen the Powerpuff girls in years, so I INSTANTLY turned around and walked back into the living room and I was excited for it. Then came April and I watched the first aired episode of the reboot, and I was honestly confused. I was offended at what I had just watched, but I hoped in my mind it wouldn't be worse, it wasn't, but I still can't tolerate it. Let's hope the new reboot will learn from past mistakes and undo the damage the 2016 has caused and put the series back to its original trajectory. And with Craig McCracken returning, many fans were excited to see a new reboot done right. For it to work though, it'll have to stick with everything the original 1998 series was best known for and chuck most of what the 2016 reboot has created out the window.

After watching the reboot in its entirety, I can say it was decent. HIM was a main villain for a few episodes which were good,like the Power of 4 movie. Mojo became the most frequent recurring antagonist by Season 3 and lastly, Silico was a decent reboot villain who had a complete story arc

The problem with cartoons nowadays is that, they are targeting the younger audience. Why is that a problem? It's simple: they are only targeting the YOUNG audience. The ones who laugh at pretty much everything. The toddlers. Society has downgraded the young generation so much that its actually hurting them instead of teaching them. Society has made itself believe cartoons are only for kids, and so we should show only things kids would probably laugh at, but not learn. The older cartoons targeted young audiences as well. The reason why it worked so well is because they also knew that when a young child watches a show, most likely the parents will be watching the show. Not mention, the young audience is 7-12, and that is the age where a kid needs to start learning life lessons when they get to school. They understood what needed to be taught. But now, thanks to society, they can't.
