As a Bangladeshi I think most Bangladeshies don't bother about Sheikh Hasina's extradition at this moment. Neither they are interested in rewritting the country's Constitution. Mr. Ali Reaz is propogating for revoking the Constitution. But, his proposal couldn't impress Bangladeshi people as they aren't interested to participate in this kind of debated issues right now. However, Bangladeshies are more interested to see Dr. Yunus taking immediate actions against price hike of daily consumable goods, specially food stuff; normalized electricity supply; improving law and order situation, smooth running of specially the county's export-oriented businesses etc. Bangladesh is heavily dependent on India for some essential goods. It's been more than a month after Sheikh Hasina has left Bangladesh. And, so far Dr. Yunus has failed to restore minimum level of normalcy in any sector of the country as he isn't a politician who understand governance. And, his unwisely chosen comments aren't helping to improve relation between the people of Bangladesh and India. As a Muslim-majority country, it's quiet difficult for Bangladeshi people to take India as a good friend. India also has failed to restore a normal relationship with the Bangladeshi people due to its infamous policy taken against their Muslim and Christian citizens and imbalanced trading policies favoring heavily the Indian side. Anyway, I think Bangladeshies will soon be disillusioned about Dr. Yunus as their thousands of demands remain unfulfilled!

However, statistics show that since India's independence in 1948, there have been around 100,000 communal riots overall. Please note that these events have had significant social, political, and economic implications in Indian society. As for the statement about Brahmins, it suggests that as long as Brahmins hold power, discrimination against non-Brahmins and Muslims will continue. However, this statement does not represent the views of all Brahmins or Hindu nationalists.

Besides, I suspect that the current interim administration and her various political opponents actually secretly desire her to stay away from the country. Because, even an imprisoned Hasina will galvanize her party and its supporters at home to reorganise and push back. Prof. Yunus’s strangely intemperate message to India to ensure that Hasina stay silent doesn’t help matters either. India had been exploiting Sk Hasina's weaknesses and deprived BD of many benefits that were due to BD. This made India the enemy no.1 as far as BD was concerned. Now if India doesn't realign itself and tries to bully BD then it will lose BD being the only friendly country in the region and that would be their making.

The current interim govt of Bangladesh is illegal as per constitution. Unelected govt or Unconstitutional govt has no right to judge Sheikh Hasina. Home Adviser Shakhawat Hossain said 7.62 riffle has been used in student protest in Bangladesh during the Sheikh Hasina Regime but 7.62 riffle did not use any force of Bangladesh so its important to investigate who actually responsible for those killing. Without doing that they blame Sheikh Hasina which is unacceptable by law !!

Indian's relation with Bangladesh is not going to improve even if Hasina is sent back to Bangladesh .Mark my words .India commited some mistake in 1971 and hence this problem ... Boycott India call given by Bangladeshis for long should be reciprocated by India by implementing Boycott Bangladesh in totality ...India should implement the same approach of ignoring Bangladesh as is done in case of Pakistan .

India can not choose to pay heed to bangladesh' demands... Since this is not an actual government.... Similarly the can't approach the icj.. Correct me if I am wrong...

Mr. Riaz, as you’re speaking of the current status of relationship between India and her neighbour countries, is it impertinent to mention the same of China with the neighbours surrounding her? You’re also speaking about July civil disobedience and as a result of it, there took place the killings of a great number of civilians. After six people having been killed, the then Prime Minister in her national address on air expressed deep mourning and condolences for the deceased and formed a judicial committee to investigate the entire unexpected deaths and incidents. In her address she also requested the demonstrators to be restrained. She also assured them that they wouldn’t be disappointed regarding the solution of the issue for which they took to streets. In the wake of her request and assurances, shouldn’t the agitators give the PM some time to see what her government would do? Repeatedly you’re speaking of mass killings, but for reason’s sake would it be unjustified to say that the whole movement against government was well ahead premeditated to justify it by the number of mass killings. Another point, is it unfair to raise the question that the said mass killings were one-sided? Through movement the demonstrators or agitators have effortlessly been trying to one-sidedly prove that government is the only perpetrators who may have the chances of having the benefit of doubt, isn’t it?

India is unlikely to extradite their puppet, Hasina, as doing so would signal geopolitical weakness. Future dictators in smaller neighbouring countries might hesitate to align with India, fearing they could be handed over if their regimes collapse. According to UN reports, Hasina is responsible for the deaths of thousands before her ousting, and Bangladesh is seeking to prosecute her. India now faces a tough choice-either extradite her or provide shelter. While India hopes she can find refuge in another country, nations like the UK, the US, and many in Europe have refused her visa. Meanwhile, Modi's foreign policy has failed in almost all of India's neighbouring countries.

Over the past 17 years, India and China have, at times, acted in ways that appear to disregard the common sentiments of the Bangladeshi people. Their support for fascist Sheikh Hasina, in some instances, despite numerous facts of extra-judicial killing, human rights violation, enforced disappearances, electoral manipulation, genocide, and killing of hundreds of innocent students thus isolated her government from the general populace and made her cult for their vested interests. The ground reality and India’s propaganda against Bangladesh as if they lost their province, now it is well recognized that Indian media is standing on yellow journalism and not creditable as per norms of international standards. In contrast, Bangladesh is a democratic and liberal country where religion-based political parties, unlike India's BJP, have not gained significant political power. Although Bangladesh is a Muslim-majority country, it is not driven by fundamentalist ideologies. It was very sad when the Indian BSF (Border Security Force) killed a 7-year-old Hindu girl at the Bangladesh border. It’s crucial to address any mistakes and recognize that India is a secular country, not defined as a Hindu Country. India’s support for Sheikh Hasina, which included her taking shelter in Delhi, has sent a negative message to many Bangladeshis. We welcome Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh- 180 million people are eagerly waiting with white roses…….. Geopolitically, Bangladesh values respect from its neighbors and seeks equitable treatment. It would be wise for all international partners mainly India to initiate fresh dialogues based on mutual respect and common interests. This approach would foster better people-to-people relations and avoid placing all hopes in one basket to further mistakes that are already made by BJP-led foreign policymakers. All international partners need to understand that Bangladesh will not allow its territory to be used for any vested interests except those that align with its national security.

Stories can be written with these fictions. Hope to get Nobel in literature. Sheikh Hasina's misrule of 15 years forced people to take this step. She took away the voting rights of the people. By own means and administration. Extrajudicial killings and disappearances. He established a dictatorship in the country.Look at the reports of the amount of corruption in the country in these 15 years. Look at the reports of his party people smuggling thousands of crores of money (BDT) abroad. RAB was sanctioned 1.5 years ago when Sheikh Hasina was in power for extrajudicial killings.

Except Bangladesh and Pakistan and Canada (Trudeau) - India has the best of the relations with the world. Now you may want to drag in Nepal but we are brothers and it is between us and we also know China is muddling in it. You may also want to drag Maldives but guess wat good sense has prevailed for Miuzu and he is visiting India very soon. So you can team up with Pakistan because there is no better combination like that in the world i bet. Good luck.
