Karen’s Chinese name is Cheung, as it's her father's last name. ‘Karen Aruba' is just her illustrator name, a common choice among artists to represent their artwork as this holds her precious memory with grandma in the small island named ‘Aruba’. I truly appreciate her passion for promoting the art of mahjong with her father talents and educating the public that mahjong is also an intangible cultural heritage; it even holds deeper, meaningful value beyond our expectations.
