Its interesting how he stands out and blends in at the same time.

those suits are perfect. I. love the finish at the shoulders and the absence of crease. Wish I could find a lower end tailor with that quality. My wallet is crying right now

The video is nice, however 500 000 divided by 70 is approx 7142, divided by 3600 we get ~2 stitches per second, non-stop, for 3 days, without sleeping, or eating, or cutting any fabric, or cutting any thread. Come on, give the man some respect.

500 000 stitches by hand, 50 hours for a whole suit... provided that he does nothing but stitching in these 50 hours, and one stitch per second, it still would be only 180 000 stitches. It's not nice to tell such stories.

Using hand or machine,my husband took seven weeks for a first fit at a tailor in Liverpool.Never mind the so called style.

Why the use of hand when you have a machine?

Hand made has much more quality and also the blessings if the tailor itself.

His suits don't look like he apprenticed as an undercutter at Gieves and Hawkes. The cut and shoulders are more European in style.

2 stiches per second per 70 hours per his whole life... yeah, right
@Fatpepperbear5 жыл бұрын
This is very misleading. All suits are made the same way by people using machines.

I totally agree. The handstitching is basically basting stitches. The actual stitching is done on lockstitch sewing machines.
@PhilNPrice4 жыл бұрын
@@chinadollfmd Are you talking about this specific tailor? I can't speak to that. I can say that there are quite a few high-end tailors who do sew every stitch by hand. To me it's not remotely worth the extra cost, but to some it is.

True bespoke is all by hand, except the weaving of the fabric
@kesseonojedje55053 жыл бұрын
@@giovannigobbi4832 why? And does it last as machine stitches?
@giovannigobbi48323 жыл бұрын
@@kesseonojedje5505 they should last more and be better looking in the first place. You can have handmade buttonholes restored by your tailor aswell when they get used. Handmade stitching is often useful when it comes to stuff like lapels, they curl up better
