Thank you for this! So inspiring! I’ve been on YT for over 1 year but struggled with consistency due to illness until just a few months ago when I got my health back. But I kept searching during my downtime for the purpose of my channel and you’re SO RIGHT; knowing your “why” is everything! It honestly took until a few months ago to figure out my clear vision (which is to help people learn how to simplify their lives so they can spend more time doing what matters and less doing what is holding them back!) I’ve been consistent ever since! I love sharing simple home care routines and now I have so much more purpose in doing it having that clear vision! It makes all the difference! Thank you again for what you do here 💕

I love your style! I actually went to school for video production and it completely turned me off by the time I was done with it. I gave away my stuff, moved on to other things. After watching channels like yours, I feel completely inspired again to get back to creating. I've been shooting and editing over quarantine with all of this extra time and I haven't felt so alive in years. I wish I had started KZbin earlier~ thank you for being an inspiration!

I've been on YT for almost 5yrs now. I would say a year ago I started to reflect and change. I started taking skillshare classes and learning from YT videos. It has made a big difference. This year I want to focus on teaching. I might not be an expert but I love sharing knowledge and helping people to feel confident doing art. I guess that's my purpose :) - I should experiment more that's for sure. Even though I don't feel too confident in vlogs I think it's so much more personal. its something I do want to try . - Do you have any tips for vlogging? Or how to be more authentic & personal?

It takes me awhile depending on the type of video. While I improved with editing during my first year, my laptop is old and my program (Sony Vegas) takes forever to render... I literally spending a few days maybe a week for just one video. How long do you take?
@TaraWagner6 жыл бұрын
@@TheMiriamMorales Between keyword research, scripting, recording, editing, and promotion (copy for newsletters, social posts, etc) it's easily 8-10 hours. With 2 videos a week AND a biz to run, it's a LOT, even with massive batching happening. 😂

What I want to know is whether I can have multiple content types for one channel. I originally started using my channel as a medium through which my corporate clients could get KZbin's embed code or share links and share the videos I produced for them on their own social media or websites. Then I figured I could create "authority" and "authenticity" for myself as a videographer and video producer if I review movies and commercials (where I talk about use of special effects, color grading, etc.). Now, I'm planning to rev up my movie review by posting reviews regularly starting Jan 2020, as it seems people do find and like my reviews. I also plan to produce technical how-to's, and reviews of the equipment I use for video production. But I'm wondering if I should create a separate channel for movie reviews and grow that separately from my more corporate-style portfolio channel. (It might help me develop "authority" w/ my viewers if I post corporate videos as well.) Could anyone give me a suggestion?
