This comments section is so great! There are so many inspirational ladies here in the same boat. It's A LOT to juggle. Weekends are so valuable, but the juggling can get tough if you travel or have other obligations that get in the way of your normal YT/FTE schedule. That's where I struggle the most. If we have to go to a work dinner or a family birthday during a time when I'd normally edit or film, it means I have to do a lot more at another time. All you ladies here are amazing. We can do it! 🙆💕

Just started a KZbin channel and GIRL! The term side “HUSTLE” is not a lie. I’m not even shooting or editing at THAT high a level yet and DAMN!!! It can get exhausting but I’m convinced that it’s just my learning curve haha

I couldn’t agree with you more! I’m on the same boat just trying to figure it all out as well. I’m a new mom and balancing being a mom & doing KZbin while I’m on maternity leave is tough. I try to edit while my daughter is playing and all she wants to do is sit on my lap and play on the laptop. The only time I can edit is when she’s asleep and by then I want to sleep haha. About thirty seconds from the end, you talk about only uploading when you can and to not put too much pressure on yourself. I really appreciate that because knowing that I cannot post consistently (I am a full time student and also work anywhere from 18-36 hours a week) is what continues to prevent me from *starting* a channel.

I don't work full time right now but I am going to be working more hours soon in a new job so I'm trying to prepare as much as I can for youtube before I start the job! I still live at home so I have to try to find time to film when everyones out (I just can't do it with people listening😂). I'm using batching to get a bunch of videos done in advance. I 100% agree with what you said about supportive people. I kept my youtube a secret until a few weeks ago and my boyfriend now talks about and asks about my channel and says how excited he is for me etc. It helps so much especially when I have that little bit of self doubt! ✨

idk how i stumbled on this. but thanks. i was debating putting out a similar video on how to maximize some time with a full time job. i'm up at 5am. at this point the routine is getting easier but streamlining all my stuff in premiere to vlog or whatever i'm doing... i missed one upload, and even with the low numbers on my traffic it was a massive difference. i've now made sundays and mon nights my youtube editing time. fml. haha

I can see now that I should work more on my social life. My family and friends kinda know that I do KZbin but I still struggle to talk about it seriously. Saying no to things and being honest why. I sometimes feel guilty when I say I'm working on my art & KZbin and put to much pressure on myself. Even tough I've never received negative feedback before I think I'm scared that someone will call me out as an "imposter" or something.... yeah I should work on my confidence too :) - Have you heard of the "Imposter Syndrome" before? I feel like a lot of other people on KZbin or pretty much anywhere may feel this too. Would love to hear your thoughts on that! :)
