The way he keeps blowing up his pipes like he is about to play them, and then not playing them is very aggravating

Um, did you ever stop to think that maybe he has to occasionally blow air into the bag to keep it full for when he needs to play later? The air won't stay in that bag forever. Some of that air is always going to escape into the pipes... well duh, because the pipes have holes that air can go through! So with that in mind, it's only necessary to occasionally blow more air into the bag to make sure it stays full enough.
