I can see why Jeffrey and Michael were so close!!. Michael not only realised his talent but his character as a person. What he said at the end was very profound. His body of work as an artist with Shalamar is fantastic but his choreography on Michael’s albums is legendary.

Thank you Jeffrey🙏🏽. For everything you contributed to the entertainment industry and dance as a whole. I wasn’t even born yet when that infamous ‘backsliding/moonwalk’ dance aired on U.K’s Top of Pop in 82. That just speaks to the enormous profound impact that he STILL continues to have on dancers and the world! Having such a calm gentle voice but so much wisdom that demands attention is not something you encounter daily. Thank you for all your contributions man and may you continue teaching our African ppl how valued they are. Much love from NYC.

Thank you Jeffrey for your wise words, you are such an intelligent man. I'm glad to hear you mentioning MJ in such a positive light, some people misunderstood him and portrayed him as a bad person. I love the way this man speaks. His tone of voice is so gentle and yet when you have wisdom you command attention. I wasn’t even born until 10 yrs after that Top of the Pops show in the U.K where he made history with that ‘backsliding/moonwalk’ move however this is just goes to show how profound and what an impact that performance STILL has on ppl. Keep on loving ur fellow Africans and teaching them how valuable they are. Ur a wonderful man dude.

A good interview. however, the interviewer should not cut off the interviewee as done in this interview on several occasions. I really wanted to hear Jeffery completed thoughts on the questions posed including Michael Jackson.I wanted to hear the deeper insights/views of someone who KNEW Michael as Jeffery is very a knowledgeable intellectual. The title of the video is why I clicked and became very interested in the dialogue and personas in the interview. I also wanted to hear more about Shalamar and the other interesting answers Jeffery had, but he was cut off several times. Time is of the essence, but no need to rush and cut off the interviewee in mid sentence or thought. I will subscribe as it is educational.

Great interview. I had the pleasure of seeing Shalamar perform Live. Jefferey and the group was a phenom. The first time I saw the backslide done properly before Michael Jackson executed it was from Mr. Daniel on Soul Train.. Then I watched him live. Blown me away. So I learned it from watching him ,then emulating it back in the early 80's.I went on to be involved in the entertainment industry because of lot the guys he mentions in the interview.

Howard Hewett and Jody Whatley along with Jeffery Daniels or Daniel. Is the Iconic Group. For Michael Jackson to collaborate with him says mountains about his abilities.
