The gnostics dont believe in God lol, atleast not the one you worshipped. The being that created you and this material realm is an evil deity called a Demiurge. The demiurge was concieved as a result of sophia asexually reproducing without a divine partner. Sophia is an Aeon, much like a god, she is very powerful. So ashamed of her own creation, she locked away the demiurge (her own child) into a pocket dimension. In that dimension, the demiurge grew and eventually realized his own potential. Out of loneliness and despair, the Demiurge began creating lifeforms. He convinced his own creation that he is the only god and no other. Eventually other Aeons found out about what sophia had done and so they came to check up on her child only to find out that he had gone mad and evil. The Aeons saw how the demiurge is treating his own creation like a toy for the sake of his own entertainment and thats where Yeshua comes in. Yeshua forged a way for us to escape and ascend and be with the Aeons. He left us so many clues one of which is "the kingdom of heaven is within you" . This material realm is nothing but a prison and sins are just chaineds made by the demiurge to make it much more difficult for us to escape.

You are right but then again you dont really choose that yourself. immersing means the same as electing that. Euphoria is good. Transcendance is good. You start praying, you are a mystic. You grow, you re still a mystic. You grow further, people might end up calling you a hippy or a priest; or a hippypriest. All of that pain, churches just tearing apart, look. We are still one in Christ. Nothing changed that. No mist, no chaos, no problem could separate us from Him. So rejoice. Thanks
