Me too! Clif High is such a unique source of inspiration! But Clif also highly recommends Percival's 1946 "Thinking and Destiny". In Chapters III-IV, if or when one questions or "outgrows" his birth religion and its Nature-bound god or gods, one shouldn't let his physical senses be seduced by Nature. In this case, music. So I'm focusing more on the lyrics. Music can be very hypnotic, which is why religions use it as a way to "sooth the savage" masses. Still, it's easy for me to "lose my sense of self" in the music and Nature's illusion of "oneness". But oneness flows beyond simple Nature at the underlying layer of Consciousness. So, as long as I can maintain my "awareness of self", I can appreciate the musical beauty without confusing the material illusion of Nature with the eternal reality of Consciousness. I'm still figuring it out, but I'm doing my best! Thank you, Clif and Percival!

Interesting that the chant includes the magical formula "AEIOU." I've known about this phrase for a long time from a different spiritual tradition, I Only recently learned about Gnosticism but am finding it to resonate more and more with me. Here's some more in depth thoughts I have on the "AEIOU" if anyone is interested: AEIOU, the 5 primary vowels in human language. Could also be symbolic of the 5 primary elements of creation (Fire(A)Ice(I)Wind(O)Earth(U) + The universal law of marriage between opposites(E)(male and female, night and day, Fire and Ice, Matter and dark matter, expansion and constriction, macrocosm and microcosm, etc.,) it could also represent the 5 primary senses we use to experience creation (Sight, smell, touch, hear, and taste). If the universe is built on this fundamental law of 5 (The Elements + the law of marriage), and our very ability to know and experience the universe is reliant on the same law of 5 (Our senses) and if we are made in the image of God it would make sense that our languages would also be rooted in this law of 5 (the 5 vowels). God creates the universe using the 5 primary elements, we experience this universe using our 5 primary senses, then we in turn create ideas, thoughts, stories, and communicate with one another using the 5 primary vowels as foundation stones for our languages. So in the phrase "AEIOU" one is connected through this universal law to the universe and the creator in the deepest most intimate way. Because it is the law of 5 God uses to create the universe in the same way we use the 5 vowels to create our languages, the 5 are a part of him just as the 5 are an instinctive part of us, not some separate tool we use, in other words God doesn't only use The elements and the law of marriage but these things are actually a part of his very being and also the 5 vowels and senses are a part of our being as humans, it is a part of us that connects us directly to God. I have a lot more to say about this but I'll leave it at that for now. Thankyou (Edit: The law of 5 also manifests in our very being by the 5 fingers we have on each hand which we use also to create things and 5 toes on each foot we use also)

Fun fact: The gnostics believe that the creator of this material realm is an evil deity called the Demiurge. The demiurge was born when a primordial goddess named Sophia tried to asexually reproduce without a partner. What came to result is a monstrous being with a head of a lion and a body of a snake. The gnostics dont believe in God lol, atleast not the one you worshipped. The being that created you and this material realm is an evil deity called a Demiurge. The demiurge was concieved as a result of sophia asexually reproducing without a divine partner. Sophia is an Aeon, much like a god, she is very powerful. So ashamed of her own creation, she locked away the demiurge (her own child) into a pocket dimension. In that dimension, the demiurge grew and eventually realized his own potential. Out of loneliness and despair, the Demiurge began creating lifeforms. He convinced his own creation that he is the only god and no other. Eventually other Aeons found out about what sophia had done and so they came to check up on her child only to find out that he had gone mad and evil. The Aeons saw how the demiurge is treating his own creation like a toy for the sake of his own entertainment and thats where Yeshua comes in. Yeshua forged a way for us to escape and ascend and be with the Aeons. He left us so many clues one of which is "the kingdom of heaven is within you" .
