The spreads in my reading journal I use the most are the list of books I read for the year and my Amazon First reads spreads so I remember which books are part of that. - My reading journal is a visual representation of each book. As I read I write down things/items that sticks out to me on post it notes, like red sports car - gingerbread housedecorating -- find pictures and make a spread with pictures. I probably only make spreads every quarter of the year if that.

Your Reading Journal is beautiful ❤️ 🎉 I don't keep a beautiful reading journal. I have a ruled notebook and I do a month heading and then list what books I read. I usually include Title, author, when I finished it, my review (which includes my star rating). It is not fancy but I enjoy it. Yours was much better visually

I started an aesthetic journal this year also for the first time and really enjoyed it. I found it a relaxing hobby to update. I'm going to continue it this year but I'm also keeping a printed reading journal so it will be a little different. Mostly i will use the aesthetic journal for tracking challenges and goals.

I really like how your reading journal came out. I just posted my reading journal flip through today. My first time sharing it. I was bad about comparing mine to others who do such beautiful journals and never wanted to show mine to anyone. But you know what I enjoy it and that is all that matters. Yeah I'm the same re starting and not finishing things! It's partly why I haven't done a proper reading journal, but it would be useful to have one so I can put down my yearly challenges as well as any monthly readathons I may participate in! 😊

I use a dot grid journal. I only have year-long spreads and readathons in it. It makes it easy to catch up if I get behind.

Wow! I think last year's journal was really ambitious! I keep a reading journal, but it's fairly straightforward. I guess you would call it more practical. I do throw in some stickers and washi tape or other little bits. I keep the year long challenges at the beginning. The main thing is what I've read each month. Sometimes I put shorter challenges in, but depends on how fully I'm participating and how focused and intent I am. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Chantel! I loved watching all your Bookmas videos, and I hope you get a well-deserved break to spend time with family and friends. I also loved seeing your reading journal! I've thought of doing one (usually after seeing inspiring videos like this), but I know myself - I'm also much better at starting things than finishing things so I'd probably end up with a mostly blank journal that stopped after February. :-) I look forward to seeing how your new journal works out!

Hi Chantel, Merry Christmas! 🎄 I keep a reading journal using a journal with grid paper. I need lines but regular lined paper feels too rigid and unlined would drive me crazy 😂. Your journal is lovely and will be fun to flip through in a few years to see how your reading tastes have changed, or not. Have fun!

I think your journal's so cute!! It can be hard to keep up though, sometimes. I started mine last year, just a few pages, and never touched it again. I created one and printed it for next year...I will be posting it the first Friday in January!

I love your reading journal!! I want to do that this coming year. I’ve kept a book log for the past 6 years, but I’d really like to try a journal. Can you tell me the size of yours & app. Page count… just for an idea.😉

It's 5.5"x7.5" with a 288 page count - way too many pages in my opinion, even gluing them together I had lots left.
