Watch this video to see how a group of Vedic mantra chanters from Shri Sadashiv Ashram in Motera, Ahmedabad, demonstrate the chanting of the mantras.
This chanting took place in Ahmedabad in April 2024.
The video's description box provides the details of the mantras chanted.
* Starting with Shanti Path - Shanti paath is prayer for peace .
* It begins from - om aapyayantu mamangani vak pranacha....
* The second is called Devi Prarthana, meaning prayer for invoking divine energy i. e. Shakti for protection by lower forces.
* Then there comes Guru Vandana i.e. respectful Pranam to Guru.
* Then there is Varishtha Brahma Darshan i. e. Om brahmai vedam amritam... . It indicates all pervading Brahma.
* Then there is hiranya garbha mantra. It shoes Virat Swaroop of Brahma.
Then there is a bunch of eleven (11) Mantras. First 4 mantras are called Maha Vakhya of four vedas.
The fifth mantra is called Avantar Vakhya . The mantra is Om prajyanamanandam brahma Om. It tells that Brahma is non-relative means nirupadhik.
* Mantras from 5th to 10th are Shiv mantras. Philosophy is in the consciousness Prithvi, jal, tej, vayu and akash.
* Mantra No. 11 is Balatibala (બલાતિબલા) mantra consisting of 103 letters. Balatibala Mantra is taken from Savitri Upanishad.
* The bunch of 11 mantras are in descending order. As one has come down, similarly, one has to
go up i.e. in ascending order. This ascending order (આરોહ ક્રમ) and descending order (અવરોહ ક્રમ) is very much important for body and mind purification. This order is known as Ekadasha Mantra nyasa (એકાદસ મંત્ર ન્યાસ).
* Then comes matrika nyaas.
* It is consisted of 50 letters in Sanskrit language alphabet. There are 16 vowels and 34 consonants.
* It is also in ascending (અવરોહ) and descending (આરોહ) order. Its proper chanting purifies and developes body and mind. Matrika nyasa, when chanted properly, it penetrates all body chakras and helps purify them.

Translation of Sanskrit Vedic texts is extremely difficult. At the most what people achieve is the gist of each shloka .

@@romeshsankranti9168 For sure. I love the texts which go word by word, not an interpretation or commentary. For the chants, just a coply of the Sanskrit in Roman letter would help a lot. My ear doesn't hear what is said without the visual... too easy to get a letter wrong.
