Love the build looks a beast Did you change the motor and controller? I have a 48v 1000 watt chaos but feels like the motor is on its way out but i have a spare motor a 1600watt bldc bm1109 would it fit where the old motor once sat?

It would have been around 35mph at times, mostly 30mph.

It cost £100 broken. I repaired it, upgraded it and it's probably sitting on around £250. I am yet to upload more videos of the speed it goes now...

Buy a new speed controller from china, one which is rated 48v-84v. Make sure its continuous discharge has around 50a (50 amps).

@dj Funny if it came with a 58 tooth sprocket, you might want to change it to a 44 tooth ut you also have to get a smaller chain

Hi. I have not been stopped due to the scooter, but I have had non related conversations to the police and they have never given any issues. My mate has also been passed police with no issues.

All I did for this video was change the motor to a 2000w controller. Not much difference to standard really just plug and go.

It's called 'Turbo mode'. Push it and you will go really slow, leave it out and it's at it's full potential for the setup.

Hey man, thanks for the comment, and for joining the upgrade community! Okay so I simply did not count the links. I kept the original chain size which I'm sure was the t8f and added/removed links accordingly.

Apologies for the vague answer but I have not been on this project for a while and intent to get back into it very soon. I did make a custom rear sprocket of 64tooth and had to weld a few bits to get it to fit.

That one was cheap, so 100 for a broken scooter, I did the repairs myself and added a few bits costing around 60 total. Since then I spend around 80
