Chaos At Budget Rental Car Port Canaveral & Embassy Suites Boca Raton - Pre Cruise Vlog!

After disembarking the Jewel of the Seas in Port Canaveral, we took the Budget Rent A Car shuttle to pick up our vehicle for the drive to Boca Raton. It was quite chaotic at the rental office, but after two hours of waiting we were on the road to the Embassy Suites for our overnight stay. The next morning we drove to the Fort Lauderdale airport to turn in the vehicle, and then were on our way to the Sky Princess. I hope you enjoy this pre-cruise vlog and will join us next time when we embark on my first Princess cruise in FOUR YEARS!

Oh goodness, I mislabeled this video location and corrected it thanks to your comment. We were in Port Canaveral and needed to make the drive to Fort Lauderdale for our next cruise, so Boca Raton was a nice midway point to break up the drive. I joined your channel as well, nice to meet you!

Hi, did you have to schedule the Budget shuttle from port canaveral or were they just waiting outside somewhere? I wonder if it's smart if i just disembark a bit closer to 10am?

We walked off the ship and happened to see the shuttle parked there - no need to schedule! I am not sure if the wait time dwindled closer to 10AM or if they were backed up with all of the earlier arrivals, but if you are not in a hurry it might be better to enjoy a relaxing morning/breakfast on the ship.

I'm going to have fun on this virtual cruise with you two on Sky....Cruising has sure got expensive......You may want to get some of those individual packs of Starbucks coffee and fill them in hot water in your room.....But then again why spend the money when they have a coffee pot in your room with coffee......To travel is fun but traveling is not......

Yes, I believe you can catch shuttles for other rental companies nearby.
