Great part A! One thing though... Be'Lakor at A tier? I'm not sure about that one. I'd put him in C or even D personally but hey that's tier lists, it's all opinion.

I played, 4 to 5 matches now since i took deamons up again, i have to say Be'lakor is good but overcosted, even more now with the changes, think he should go down to 300 pts. Alltough i play him in tagteam with Shalaxi and it really shines, his shooting attack sometimes does unexpected things, and his melee shines against big toughness stuff. Dropping whatever you want of his shadow should not be underestimated.

Is rolling terrible charges with the bloodthirster a universal experience??

I have a 1k game for daemons and do you think I should change anything? KoS with soulstealer GuO with endless gift Changeling Nurglings Fiends Fiends Flamers I also have a bloodthirster and blood crushers and plague bearers and shalaxi and daemonettes and sylleske but after watching this thought this may be best?

The Twilight Saga: Shadow of Chaos Be'lakor (Edward) Shalaxi (Bella) Skarbrand (Jacob) GUO with Endless Gift The Changeling 1x6 Nurglings 1x10 Plaguebearers 3x3 Fiends 1x3 Flamers It's very similar to my most successful leviathan list, but on old points 2x Fiends used to be 2x Screamers. Nurglings were 2x3 and now combined to free up the extra 10 points.

I think Skarbrands no fall back aura is not that good like it used to be . Against armies with ld 6 ? The minus 1 dont secure many fails tbh.

It’s a badly written rule. We don’t contribute any -1 ld debuff as an army - there are specific units that do it (for instance blue horrors) but our shadow effect is NOT a leadership test/characteristic debuff. It only affects battleshock tests, so his rule doesn’t interact with shadow of chaos at all.

I can’t disagree with you more about Bloodletters. They are a truly FANTASTIC unit. They are a vehicle for buffs, and are not intended to be run around willy-nilly on their own. When you drop them near one of the big dudes, with a character, and a Rendmaster on the table, they kill just about anything. They are extremely easy to get into combat and hit ludicrously hard. They’re killier than the Bloodthirster, for sure, at a much lower points cost. No, they’re not going to hang around long, but they are extremely powerful and satisfying to play with.

Hey dude, agree with you to an extent. Part of our thought process with this ranking was how well units perform on their own, and in the case of characters how well they improve other units. I particularly don't like to play the game with loads of synergies in one place as it often feels like it's too many points used to achieve the goal I need. Based on the buffs available they're a top unit, but I feel they force you to build the list with multiple units to improve them (and all the other Khorne stuff in the army), which is why they get marked down on their own.

@@tylerjensen8383 I agree, they are a unit that wants the myriad of buffs you can stack on them. Just never been a fan of a unit that needs 3 or 4 big buffs to actually do their job 😅

@@tylerjensen8383 now you say bloodletters are much lower cost than a bloodthirsters ? Games i have tried my bloodthirsters kill what they. Hit and im not even using rendmasters. Bloodletters kill only when 2 rendmasters helps them and that should be counted as 2*150 points + 120 points you need to invest in killing only 1 target. In a 2000 point game there should be alot more dangerous targets. Rendmasters can only reach 1 unit with their ability.

@@spilnukim38 Here's the thing - in a list with even a small amount of Khorne units, you're GOING to bring a Rendmaster. They are a fantastic unit - they don't even need to make it into combat themselves for several rounds to be massively impactful to the game. With that being the case, bloodletters become extremely powerful. Even without Skarbrand or BT, Bloodletters with a character get 25-26 attacks. They actually do get to re-roll some of the wound rolls, and with Rendmaster, these attacks become extremely strong. Volume of attacks is always better than fewer, bigger attacks in this game - that's just how it works. The whole point of the unit is to be a vehicle for buffs, and the fact that it's a lot more attacks than a Bloodthirster is capable of, even with an enhancement, is actually a big deal.
