1 day of rain... we wouldn't have noticed this if the freaking road drains had been cleaned out in the last decade... discussing negligence, and they should be held accountable for the damages... imagine what's going to happen if it rains for a week ....

We lost our car in a flood at Wrantage at the beginning of December. While I was waiting for the recovery truck, I found that the drains were totally clogged with a couple of inches of mud. I cleared it and the flood was drained within minutes! Council had put up road closed signs, why they can't check the drains quickly while they're there is beyond me! I didn't need special equipment, just pushed the mud aside with my wellies. Complete negligence 😢
