I liked Dr Crusher. She was a great character.

The biggest problem with Pulaski was that she started out as way too much of a copy of McCoy and though that was toned down pretty quickly that left a bad taste and even toned down it still felt a bit too much, especially the forced, overdone conflicts she had with Picard.

I always felt Pulaski was a far more interesting character than Crusher and Diana Muldaur a better actress than Gates McFadden but Beverly Crusher was a better fit in terms of the tone of TNG as a whole.

Paul Chouinard thats insane. Gates Mcfadden is so talented. She was underused on the series. I hated Pulaski. She didnt even care enough to pronounce Datas name correctly!

I just got the complete series of Star Trek the next generation on blu ray. This series introduced me to the world of Star Trek. I understand why you do not like her character. I never liked how she called Data "It", but sh is just playing a character. Both actresses are very talented.

I thought she was good in Elementary Dear Data....FRAUD!!! LOL You remember when Data solves the case in less than 30 seconds because of his vast knowledge of Holmes.
