Wow, I couldn't disagree more. It brightens my day every time I see it. For some reason the joke of comically oversized axe just gets funnier for me. I've always loved Reformist's whimsical side though.

Personally, if I was in an area that wasn't at war with my faction, or with me, I'd see about getting on the locals' good side. Heck, if I was in an area that I was at war with, I'd still try to get on the locals' good side. I'd see about doing bandit quests, or at least clearing the hideouts out, along with rescuing caravans/villagers. If nothing else, clearing out the hideout makes the enemy locals go, "We might be enemies, politically, but personally, thank you." and the neutral ones like it when you can aid their folks in a fight against mutual enemies.

You can't take quests from enemy villages.

@@ReformistTM True, but you can, at least, clear out the hideouts, which will, at least, make the Notables not dislike you to the point that you can't hire troops from them. Right?

I'm not sure why I would want to hire troops from an enemy faction when they provide a morale debuff. It's also a difficulty regarding choice of unit as well. I'd rather hire noble troops rather than peasant and the hideouts eliminated cannot be specified in location so it's luck based. I already have a large number of prisoners (from enemies as well) that can be converted in time and at a high tier level so no need to wait for them to level up.

I believe the reason your not hitting the enemy is because the hit box of the axe you are using isn't as big as it should be ( basically the size of a regular 2 handed axe blade)
