Want one. Want one badly. My only concern is a "Store" being attached to the pedal. DLC for a boutique pedal is just that step too far.

So the "Store" doesn't mean there will always be a paywall, we just see an opportunity to introduce certain effects for sale in the future. We plan on launching with 24 free effects and will continue to release free effects through Chaos Audio. We are exploring the possibility of allowing artists, pedal manufacturers etc. to create digital emulations of their effects that would be check-marked and verified for quality by them to be sold for a fraction of their analog cost on our online store. If that clears things up please do reserve your Stratus ASAP! We want to see you on launch day. chaosstratus.com/

Interested to know more about the "pedalboards". Are there lots of these we can use as presets ready to go? I make tracks all day long... and would like fast access to loads of presets that I can track ideas with. How does that work? Saw Ivan's video that brought me here. Thanks!

Hey! We don't have pre-made presets implemented in the app, but it's certainly something we can throw together now and put on our website. You would still have to build the patch and save it as a preset, but if you were following a template it would be very quick. That being said you can create and save an unlimited number of presets through Stratus so with a little bit of setup you could definitely have fast access to loads of different presets through Stratus

Seems like very basic typical style effects and very basic controls. If I were to get something like this, it would have to be able to something my current gear cannot.

THIS is something. If you want billions of controls and knobs to spend more time tweaking them and programming with a laptop or your smart phone than playing your guitar, then spend a Kidney on a Fractal or Kemper. The important thing is what YOU can do with all these effects given. Remember that most iconic songs from our guitar heroes were made with just a couple of pedals and effects, if any in some cases. The only thing that I'm currently missing is the Windows/Mac compatibility app.
