I don't mind long videos, seems to me like it's an open niche, most others are either rushed and omit detail or focus on extremely small topics. I've been playing for a few months and I still don't know some of the meta, character niches, tips, etc. so it's always good to hear. And the nuanced discussion that's exclusive to these long form videos is fun. Didn't have any problem with the visuals of the last video, but the editing in this one is good, like the animations. As a presenter you need a bit of practice; hesitations, slip ups, and you seem tense. But it's fine considering you're doing it basically in one take, and I'm sure you'll improve a lot over the next videos, so keep it up!

I mean I know Toth is niche but he's a staple of my nerothrope team, so in my books him and Abraxas are top tier. That said I do see why people that play more normal teams wouldn't see as much use in him.

Congratulations to James for the win! Regarding the feedback - the format is great, your intonation and liveliness (for lack of a better word) make me feel like I'm having a conversation with a friend. Having good video chapters helps navigation a lot, and the fact that you literally fill the video to the brim with content with a good tempo is great! A couple of things that can and will definitely improve with time - your positioning within the video itself, and the thumbnail. You deserve a lot more of a following than you have, so thumbnails and titles would help you attract more people. Also - I think we should see more of you and less of the background, meaning making yourself a bit bigger. You are a cool dude, you give of big "best mate" vibes - capitalize on that, put yourself front and center!

Am quite a fan of the updated list. Great work. A small note for future may be when reviewing units for such lists to add either some gameplay of there top potential or potential allies that they often work well with since its geared towards new players. For example ahriman is great but needs to be paired with certain units to gain full value. Adding some usual associates when discussing a character may be useful. Thats just my thoughts though. Great vid regardless

I think the biggest mistake on such tierlists is making them for all game modes only. I agree that there can be general placement for some or even lots of characters, but otherwise I think lists should be separated for gamemodes, as this one I saw was heavily affected by character GR performance. I propose to, along the general TL also make 1) GR list; 2) TA/Arena list 3) Campaign/LRE/OS list.

I agree with this, and eventually there will be tier lists shredded out with each domain as the focus. However, I think the spirit of the list was a bit mis-conveyed. I shredded this one out by faction so players could know how best to spend their limited faction resources.

Man, that's just wholesome how opinions of viewers changed some positions in there! Totally agree on Angrax, i believe he was first or second of my characters to become g1. His potential in LRE-s and onslaughts was what i needed. And yeah, Pestillian is still pass... He's just bad.

I could even watch an 8 hour long video if it was packed with useful information or good entertainment ;) You are doing great. One thing bothers me a bit though... You don't have to change your opinion just to make people happy. Of course, it's good to see things from different points of view and a wise man changes his mind, but "people" will always vote for their sympathies, run underwhelming line-ups just to make their fav hero shine or simply "people" will always know better. You shouldn't be changing YOUR tierlists so easily, because when everyone is a superhero, then actually no one truly is. In the end of the day you are the guy who is in a top 10 guild and have probably discussed a lot with your guildmates, top players as well. This is the intel a lot of the players are actually looking for - an in-depth anylysis coming from top of the top, not being biased buy some guys claiming Maladus is great because he wrecks everything in their top 50 Sergeant League comp... I do know the list is a living thing and believe all of the changes were deeply analysed as well, but keep in mind a lot of us are waiting specifically for your opinion, because you've proven to be a great player. And a great content creator and entertainer. This being said, best wishes for you and your channel and don't make us wait too long for next videos :)

I don't feel any changes here caused me to sacrifice integrity. Angrax the only one that was iffy. But he's technically a top character for the chaos faction. And he didn't change his position in relation to the other characters. Although I suspect Abraxas will overtake him soon

Currently holiding 30 xenos leggo orbs and 37 imperial leggo orbs awaiting your xenos/imp tierlist…..i have some real questionable characters like morven vaal/azrael/boss gurgitz etc i just dunno if i should wait for maugan/calgar/thaddius etc which i do not have

@@DZGJayce I've been playing since their first massive overhaul of the game in patch 3.0, which was back in 2017. It's got a lot of layers of complexity, but it's the kind of game where every time you play there's a new tidbit to learn, and you really don't need to dive in and learn everything all at once. Every time you make a new character, you learn about the specific mechanics relevant to them. Anyway, Maladus should be higher! Lol

Kut Skoden's passive is NOT like Angrax's. You have to move Kut to a hex adjacent to an enemy for it to work, meaning if he doesn't move next turn, he won't use the passive, which translates to not being able to cover two spawn points at once like Angrax can, who only requires the enemy to move to take damage, which always happens when an enemy spawns unless all hexes around the spawn are blocked. You're sleeping on Yazagour too much, he can absolute nuke. Toth alongside Ahriman, Abraxas, Vindicta, and one more psyker like Neurothrope, Yazaghor, or Eldyron, would be the ultimate psycher nuke team. Typhus is average at best and Abbadon can be argued as being the worst Legendary character in game. He's weak at best and a liability. IMHO the Thousand Suns as a whole are the most powerful faction. There's not one character lacking. If built around their abilities, they make an all Chaos team actually feasible, but I'd still have Vindicta or Roswitha to work with Ahriman's active until we see a Chaos fire starter.

Kut passive: When coming into contact with a melee target this turn deal x damage Angrax passive: When coming into contact with a melee target this turn deal x damage + any enemy that moves from a hex adjacent takes damage Angrax has the entirely of Kut passive + more is what I was getting at. I agree that there's still alot of potential for the TSons to move up, and I want them to, they are my favorite full faction in this game right now. I just don't see alot of value into investing in them at this time.

I think you listened a bit too much to random comments xD Thaumachus is weak at best, your first take was accurate. Angrax is certainly NOT top tier material, a niche character cannot be in the same tier like the all-rounders. He was fine at "strong". Maladus at "average" is fine. Yazhagor at "weak" still too low. If Angrax (also a niche character) is top tier, why isn't Yazhagor higher? He is certainly better than Haarken, Abaddon, Malladus. Haarken is garbage after the first few months, for me it a clear "weak". Toth should be above Yazhagor, especially due to TA and LRE. For me certainly in the "average" category. Abaddon can be moved down to "weak"

Thaumachus was previously at "needs testing" more so than weak. I think he's average, has a very unique ability with some unique uses, but his shield can be VERY clutch. Angrax didn't move up far, and for the chaos faction he's def second (now third best) he for sure won't be "top tier" on the all factions list.

If you ask me, Typhus is heavily overrated and you heavily undervalued corrodius. Yes typhus has a great active, but ask yourself, how easy is it to counter and what else does he bring to the table? His passive is horrendously hard to trigger, as he has to start next to somone on HIS turn as a 2 movement character, while his normal attacks are laughably weak. Corrodius abilities all work at all stages of the game and he works as a taunt so to say, as if he ever gets to round 5, his active is imo one of the strongest in the game. I would be honestly saying put typhus one down and corrodius one up on tiers or leave typhus where he is. Nauseus and corrodius are the reason for Dg existing, you CAN make an argument for typhus, but imo the passive being nonexistent unless you fight melee ai really hurts him.

I personally am not a fan of Typhus, nor do I have him unlocked on the main account (I would be happy to have him though) He for sure needs a buff, but the fact that he is a tanky psyker has given alot of people major love for Typhus. Corrods plus 1 movement is massive, but how long he needs to wait for his summon is pretty rough.

I agree that Typhus being a full tier above Maladus and Corrodius is criminal. All of Maladus' weaknesses are mirrored in Typhus, but Typhus also has worse stats. Would take the flail man over him any day of the week

I am watching your videos for months and it takes 3 months to understand this game’s dynamics. For a new player when he see this video he will think that ohh ahriman is the best chaos character and I should invest to him but that is not true. You will fill arena ahriman and vindicta combo like the KZbinrs did makhotep and aleph-null combo when I started the game. Ahriman is not the best chaos character. This is misleading. Don’t let the new players invest to this.

I disagree, I think that if you're a new player and you get Ahriman you should 100% invest into him, as he will have insane valuation for your account. You are already given Vindicta and the synergy there is fantastic. You can also easily get Yazaghor, his eldryon synergy is great with Doombolt. Now I won't say they need to grind out his 500 shards today, but he easily has more versatility, synergy, and raw power than any other chaos character.

You can take almost anything to PVP AI and do okay. The game mode is relatively simple. I always just take what needs the most exp

@JR-yp1hf well that depends on what you define as best tbh. My vote would be Bellator. Some would argue Calgar. But other tanky chars have certain uses that raise/lower the definition of best.
