After reading the books 3 times, and having just seen the movie. I'm so disappointed. I thought they did a good job of showing "noise" but the rest of the movie was so lacking. The relationships between Todd and Ben, Todd and Manchee were not developed . The scene where Manchee..... well I didn't even cry.

According to the books: the generation before them arrived on this planet (New World), there was a disease. Disease made all the women die, and all the men be able to hear each other's thoughts. Also animals, we can hear their thoughts too but doesn't look like they did that in the movie. I would recommend reading the books if you're interested, by the looks of this they'll be a hell of a lot better than the film. Hope that helped :)

I can’t wait to go back to the movies :( I want to see matrix 4 and avatar2 so bad :(((( at least theaters are finally opening back up ... all these straight to stream movies are pretty much garbage; so sad that the industry will die without theaters and these production companies don’t even fight for the films or even think about the future of the industry (it isn’t streaming, when films get set to stream people just download them and the movie makes so little cash)... so sad.

This was filmed in 2017 when he was 20. I recommend watching The Devil All the Time from Netflix, Cherry from AppleTV and Pilgrimage from Amazon. He gives more grown up performances there. He has been working on stage and film since he was 10 and is a very hard worker so he will always find parts, even if they are small. He's not known as a big spender, so he's probably saving his Spidey money whenever roles dry up
