Dry down smells like the locker room after a Chicago Bears football game..... sadly sold off my bottle. Loved the opening....loved the mid....unfortunately the drydown left me in tears....

@@Antagonistfc I think it may be because they are not used to the smell of natural sage. Sage has a strong aromatic profile, and when it's not stripped of it's almost earthy dense character, it doesn't come out like a sweet clean showerjelly aromatic undertone like you find in the Y line. That's why I love ADG EDP: it has that raw sage aromaticness, balanced with fruity and mineral notes, and a nice tame vetiver.

@@christopherlevinanakofigug1178 it lasts longer and definitely different although the same DNA. Elixir lasts forever but EDP is not bad. I use Elixir more but say I am going out for a casual event then the EDP is more likely to be used.

I went to Macy's and smelled a sample. its exactly like the original jus ramped up a bit. Great fragrance but no creativity. Jus remaking something that should've been made right the first time. But it is what it is. Still a great fragrance.

I left a comment describing my experience. The minerals and saltiness combined with the mandarin gave it a super cannabis smell off of me. Off the strip it was fresh and almost green with some sea saltiness. Very pleasant. But off skin it was weed for hours. A whiff of it in traffic from another car smoking out can be nice or bring back memories, but I don't wanna smell it on me all day long. Just my experience. Gave me a headache.

you might get noose blind to it, but profondo is even stronger than profumo, i get 10 hours, never heard of anyone gettting 3 hours from profondo ever in my life, like for real.

Just grabbed a 2022 bottle of profumo..not sure what the older bottles smelled like but this is not great. Nice opening then becomes wet dirt with ADG hints...don't get this amazing incense I heard about.

I just got this yesterday and wore it today. I definitely don't love it and not even sure I like it. All I keep smelling is cannabis on the dry down. The opening is super good, but this is for sure my least favorite of the line (except never tried instinct)

Before that, they even changed the formula of Profumo. That great smoky incense smell that would linger on your clothes for days. They took it out. Pissed of about it because when I bought it I wanted what was in the tester.

I wanted to like this one SO MUCH! I love the OG, like everyone else. Unfortunately, on my skin, it gave off a SERIOUS cannabis fume. I say fume because it wasn't a scent, or vibe. It smelled like weed off of me. Not bad weed. Not skunky. Just like some frags have cannabis as a note, off my skin, it was the MAIN MAIN note. I couldn't. So sad, for me.

What is the slight skunky smell during the opening 10-15 minutes? I’d like to know what note that is. It’s a bit off putting to me but then when the dry down begins, it gets really nice and soft. The scent trail is amazing after the first hour or so.

The answer is subjective. For me, I like it way better than profondo but Profumo and Essenza still the top 2 out of the ADG line imo. You would need to get a couple of samples to make your decision. I rarely use my profondo bottle but I have been using this new EDP everyday. Hope this helps
