I got my bottle last week from SweetCare and I'm very happy with the fragrance. You got it spot on. This for summer days with Profumo for the evenings. I have Profondo but was never blown away by it. I much prefer Profondo Lights. I have the full range yet still treasure my bottles of Essenza.

Hi I don't like the overload of geranium in profondo I don't like that cold air smell . But without that I'd love the scent . Whats lights like and do you get that massive geranium blast ?

I'm loving it and getting compliments like subtle yet classy. I live in a tropical climate so it lasts about 3 to 4 hrs. More or less my all day long wear.

I tried profondo on my left wrist and edp on the right. I've got mixed feelings, while I like opening and mid of edp much more, after 4 hours it was gone. Profondo I found a bit annoying from the start but I could still smell it after 8 hours.

I went into a well known fragrance shop wanting to sample this. They didn't have it in store, so i was met with the comment "just smell the original it's exactly the same" Honestly couldn't believe it, ended up leaving that shop shocked at their lack of knowledge. That day i ended up buying Eau Sauvage Parfum.

I always thought the OG Aqua di Gio was more ozonic than aquatic. Lightly scented air is what it is. Now, that air may be breathed in on the shore of the Mediterranean sea but it's still air. It sounds like this new EDP would be the summer evening choice for me whereas the OG would be the daytime choice.

so I just got it 3 days ago. I either go nose blind quick or projection is bad. it smells good. Nothing sexy smelling..just nice...but I'm going to let my bottle age a couple of weeks and go back to it. I'm sure it will grow on me. definitely summer smell. I wish it was more like the orginal hence the name...but these days you never know what you get lol

I bought mine with a gift card this week, and must be in the minority because I'm not really blown away by it. It doesn't seem to last very long on me, and there's an orange peel-like smell to it that I'm not excited about. Though I haven't tried Profumo, I do like Profundo and Absolu, which most reviewers didn't like.

Yea bro I kid u not . I bought it two days ago and want to take it back . It lasts MAYBE an hour before the scent just vanishes away. And that’s after a good 8 sprays or more. And for an edp you would think it would last

LOL Absolu has the 2nd best performance after Profumo, and it is good. It used to be severely underrated, which is why the manufacturer used to sell it at 50% off during sales, but now it is only 30% off due to fragrance reviewers glorifying it and demand rising. We'll see what happens during Black Friday.

I've worn down my bottle to about 3/4 already and I have a collection of over 200 fragrances, that should tell you guys something. However the performance is a bit lacking so don't be afraid to go heavy on the trigger.

Yes, I agree, it’s a great fragrance but the performance is not optimal. Just for comparison sakes, I would say this new ADG has the same performance as YSL L’homme.

Just got a bottle of this today and it’s very lovely, it smelled great off my skin right away. It’s a great summer fragrance but I’m anxious to see how it performs in some colder weather, feel like this has a much more versatile scent than its flankers.

ADG...One of the greatest fragrances of all time. I have to try the EDP. Some EDPs aren't just more concentrated than their EDTs but smell significantly different. I pray this isn't one of them.

@@jacksonbelch9311 It lasted 10 hrs on my skin but that was back in 1998 when I got my first bottle. I wasn't using it for for the past 10 years and then I finally got another bottle. The batch from December 2021 is very weak. EDP is a bit better tho but still weak.

Can’t comment on the new ADG as I haven’t tried it, but having both Profumo and Profondo I would say Profumo is better. Polo Deep Blue is very similar to Profondo but better performing and less headache inducing for me, so that’s a decent alternative. Profondo is a great smell but has a sharpness like YSL Y EDP which gives me a headache..... that’s probably just me though. You’ve prob got the best of the line in Profumo.

Wore the EDP yesterday, for about 2 hours after overspraying. Classy, but a big but, hardly a scent after that. Not nose blind, because my friends could not smell it at all. Nothing, zero, zilch, nada. Eau de parfum? You have got to be kidding me. A no buy for me.
