Hey Loui ! Thanks for the beautiful visas and footage. FYI tip. If you need a small screw (like for the stove) you can borrow one of the trim screws that hold the jeeps interior panels on. 1 missing screw won't matter on most non mechanical things. Cheers 🍺🤛😎👍

I feel like if you go to this area of the world specifically and completely over look the First Nations have you even been there! It is so in your face and a huge part of the culture up there. I’m glad people are appreciating and acknowledging along with me!

@@AdventureTimeLoui Absolutely! But for the record, I have watched other similar trips on KZbin up to the Arctic Circle and First Nations peoples are barely mentioned much less featured. The content creators make it about them or their epic rig. While that can sometimes be enjoyable, I much prefer what you've done: Highlighting the community aspect (even though you're going solo), the history, the land, the culture, and all that good stuff! Thanks again.

I envy you for being able to spend so much time alone without going insane. When I try that, my mind finds it amusing to think of all the things I could have done differently and all the things I wish I could be. How do you manage loneliness? It feels like being a million miles away from everything you know would be intimidating but you find a way to make it exciting and challenging instead. So envious of your ability to put aside the depression and loneliness and make the most of your adventures!

I went to the Yukon around 7 years ago with just my dog and Jeep and I got the what's that girl doing here look all the time . Or the out right asked what are you doing up here by yourself. I was headed to dawson City to drive truck . Then they were like ahhh . It was early spring ...

I’ve always found that people who give weird looks are usually just curious and harmless! Sometimes if they don’t say anything to me or ask why though it definitely can feel a little awkward haha
@Eddiemcedson4 ай бұрын
@AdventureTimeLoui is absolutely so true .. Especially up that way were they don't see a lot of solo females . Also, before the reg season of people going to Alaska . I'd rather them spit it out than keep it in . Once I told them what I did for work, they wished me luck and asked if I knew what I was getting into . I look like a city chick with a little white dog, but I grew up on a farm central Alberta and worked in the oil and gas industry since I was a teen . It's pretty old school up that way, and they just seemed genuinely concerned or curious. I'd be curious to . I hate the awkward and love the outright asking
