I guarantee the operation of this noble task force, if there was a methodical and a well thought out logistic plan mapping out different levels and phases that include before, during and after ground work to be implemented and put in to Action, lots of these chaos and disorderly conduct of community confusion and desperation would have been avoided and easily resolved without all the mayhem and resistance from the public due to non compliance and lack of cooperation from the public..When we failed to plan something this magnitude, we are simply setting ourselves to failed because of lack of strategic planning and the absence of proper organization as a key element for a successful operation to be effective.

Arresting our Mums like this and putting them at the back of this dirty pickups is really disturbing. These are the women who will wake up very early, buy stuff from the main markets and sell them on the streets in other to feed us, pay our school fees, buy beautiful clothes for us etc… You guys need to be careful. If this is the only job you can do, do it in the right manner and remember what goes around comes around. We’re all born and raised in the Gambia and we know each other very well. Period!!!

Unplanned business neighborhoods. The former structure of Sere Kunda business expansion was not community appropriate. Such planning was indeed colonial. Everything was centralized within unmanaged structures. Indeed such concentration of population of business personnel took over beautiful historic neighborhood. Indeed, the lack of spacious areas for vendors operation really disturbed the creation of healthy environment for community. development Such factorial plan was not good paradigm for a post colonial period. I hope the city authorities can now see that business operation is also a biological factor. Too much cramping of people is bad for environmental progress. Please conserve spaces for healthy functional communities. The colonial factorial plan was not a good paradigm for maintenance of healthy business environment.
