I have to withdraw what I said about Perplexing Heat attack. I made a screenshot, then a cut on the card and then enlarged it. I noticed that it doesn't even look like a pyramid nor does it have a red background like heat. Now I have no idea what it is. Also, I still have a doubt if the card that is above Malvadine in the column of 5 creatures is Opto and if another of the unidentified cards is Hota.

Although it should be noted that Mezzmarr's card presents a body of water in the lower left, which is not seen in the episode, but I made the comparison and it is him. I will edit my comment. And I will remove the Perplexing Heat attack (first from column 9 and ninth from column 11), since as I said before, I made the comparison, and it seems that it was not. And have you found a Maglax and Banshor in the deck? (Tom used them on screen). And Hota is there?

Below Ekuud is Junda, above Ulmar is Gharnet, below Aggroar is Miklon (who we never see in the cartoon itself) and the two from the bottom above Magmon are Wamma and Skartalas. I'm guessing when Munnari coded Maxxor with that trick shot, Tom used his Ariak to bring Maxxor back.

Tom doesn't have Ariak, the card below Donmar is Najarin. The reason why it isn't the OG art is because it uses a beta version of Najarin Fludimorpher's Foe (for evidence see the episode "Mr. E."). Compare the colors and forms, Najarin's match more than Ariak's.

Season 1 had more consistency in their attacks, i could tell which attack is which. It seems like season 2 have them shooting 20 different types of lasers randomly and even the known ones change in animation from time to time.

Its true that season one had better consistency with their attacks but both seasons have their pros and cons which it depends on what that viewer prefers. All seasons have their fair share of bad episodes but one aspect that I love about Season Two was the focus of Perrim and the overall lore of the tribes. Tom and Peyton are such goofballs and we love them for it. It’s not like the first time Tom’s Maxxor got coded but that slip into the fall must’ve been painful down there… ouch!!! 🥶🙈🤣

This is probably why nobody has ever done a Mega Match not simply because it's never done before but I guess veterans knows too well multiple 6 v 6 matches tire them out enough as it is. Note of the Wise: No 105 v 105 If they were playing in the real world with cards or online match it's fine but in Chaotic they basically did not take into account of how tiring it would end up being to have that many matches. I say the highest should be 10 v 10. At the very least they should use a day to plan for it. Well I bet they can go for a Mega Match again now that they know how tiring it can get.

Thing with the Hive though is that BOTH sides get the benefit when it's active. Danian vs Danian fights can get tricky if both rely on the Hive for their battle strategy. As for Tom and Peyton, neither seem to use that many Danians.

Soooo. That just showed up in my youtube recommadations for some reason. i just clicked it cause the thumbnail showed some monster fighting and it looked nice (i am a big fan of old series like Gargoyles or Extreme Dinosaurs) . i have never ever seen nor heard of this series and of course i just roughly understood what was going on ,seems like a yu-gi-oh kind of thing. now i am wondering is the series as a whole any good?

I imagine you'd like it quite a bit. Wouldn't say it's like Yu-Gi-Oh though. Chaotic is really in a world of its own amongst the animated game-series. Creatures that are really alive on another planet and are sentient, can talk our language(assumedly, if there's no translators in scanners or something), and have civilized societies. The gameplay itself is unique from all other kinds of card games. Having battlegear and Mugic, the 4 different discipline stats, energy is just HP but they have unique ways to get more energy in the game, be it from abilities, mugics, or even battlegear. Some cards have Loyal tags, where in YuGiOh it'd be like "this monster can only be in a deck made up of other Amazon monsters", or "this monster can only be in a deck of other dragon monsters". Not to mention the fact that players actually become the creatures here. That's definitely one of the most incredible and unique features. I think Chaotic is the most fascinating series amongst the game-series roster. Definitely the best for story/lore/world/universe. Has the greatest potential amongst TCG's I say, if it comes back again.

apart from how much time it would take, there’s a few strategies that’d completely break game balance. If you played as danians, hive would be insane. And if you want to use marrillian heat cannon for an easy win, you could stack your side with fluidmorphers and call an instant win as soon as the location came up, sooner if you used mugic, attacks or battle gear to guarantee it

This episode is the first time Thonder makes a physical appearence.
