0:44 you can also build 2 infrastructure in Kaiseri and also a supply hub if you want to also get 2 mills from there after doing the chromium deal with Germany. Building in Bursa is unnecessary, since you get 65 chromium from there after getting a naval base from the navy focus (I forgot how its called)

This video has some good tips, but the Sanayciler focus gives access to a decision that costs 300pp and gives you a LOT of military factories. I believe it’s somewhere from 4 to 6, can’t recall of the top of my head. Well worth doing, especially since Turkey has a huge sink of political power in Kurdistan you can make use of soon after anyway.

So as a Turkish person i'd like to explain a few things for you. A little history time. First of all that "Entrench Kemalist in State" decision. Back in the 1920s and 1930s, there were two political sides in Türkiye. One side mostly lived in rural areas and inner Anatolia, people were "traditionalist". Many of them did not really like the way Atatürk created. "Republic" and "Democracy" terms were very new to this people. And there was one "progressive" side. They mostly lived in borders to the sea. And as you can tell they were close to Atatürk's ideas. And in 20s/30s Türkiye many incidents happened. One of the most important was clearly an assasination attempt on our beloved father Atatürk. The idea of entrenching Kemalist in state means, stopping un-progressive, separatist and if i need to be bold terrorists, putting an end in a non-sense civil aggression by educating people. The "Etatism" was a collective economic system created by Atatürk. It is a bit complicated to translate but if I were to say it straight it means economy is controlled and diverted/distributed(?) by the Turkish government. In early Türkiye idea of "private-enterprise" was not preferred. Atatürk wanted our country to be self-sufficient. And in-game it is simplified to "if you change economic law you get bad stuff.". Lastly the most controversial one. "Kurdish Rebels". Back in 1880s and 1890s Kurdish people fought with Armenian people in Eastern Anatolia and Turkish military tried end this bloody war between them. In the end, the Turkish nation was chosen as the scapegoat. In 1920s Kurdish tribe leaders were received financial support from a few countries. Basically big countries wanted them to rebel to the new republic. They wanted to carve Türkiye into many states. I do not want to get into politics anymore but yeah this is the simplistic structure. They tried to rebel a few times by mixing the ideas of "cultural differences" and "Thanks to democracy we will have no religion!". Anyways i hope i have cleared just a tip of this iceberg. Thank you. Also most of the Turkish people does not hate Greek people or Kurdish people. We can joke about ourselves but they are brothers and sisters of us. Take care.

Hello, fellow turkish brother. I just wanted to correct the wrong info you had and even clarify it. Etatism was not created by Atatürk. It was more or less created by the French. (In fact, a lot of Atatürks ideas were inspired by the French, such as secularism) Also, to clarify etatism is when the government controls most of the nations industry and owns its resources. When the nation mobilizes, most of its resources and industry go to warfare, which causes less consumer goods production, which causes less trade, which causes devalued currency, which causes inflation Anyways, have a good day brother

I keep waffling between Switzerland and Turkey as the worst trees in the game and I think I'm settling on Turkey because at least Switzerland doing anything is inherently stupid.
