Ah, Klement Gottwald... the guy who saw a city built by an industrialist and felt "Yes, this city is truly worthy of the name of me, a communist hero" and renamed it after himself... And then died of grief(ruptured aorta, but we will call it broken heart) when returning from Stalin's funeral. 5:35 Richard Tesařík is the only general you need. Guy was a pro-Soviet communist, fought on eastern front as tank commander(lost his eye late into ww2)... Had issues with Czechoslovak communist party... he was later sent to Moscow officer academy, where he supposedly got into a fight with east german soldier after calling him a nazi.

At 18:20 you wanted to call your puppet in. If you do that through the diplomacy-interface it seems to act more like a request. so they will deny it, if they dont have a unit in every border-province. If you want to force your puppet in, do it through the war-interface, you know where you can see all the factions, and casualties and stuff

As Andorra in the Road to 56 mod try to take over the Iberian Peninsula. I got close but kept getting naval invaded by Spain. You are also going to want the “purchase war” mod because it lets you buy manpower, factories and most equipment otherwise it is impossible.

This was actually really similar to my first runs in HOI4 where I did communist chechoslovakia, and koord with the soviets and conquered hungary, before getting absolutely smashed by germany because I was too slow to get austria(referendum) and I was still too incompetent. I will definitely try this once more.
