Thanks for the tip! I watched your video, drilled a hole and used a rivet to hold the rubber piece on.

I watched this to get a look at what I might be needing for my back pack sprayer. Mine isn't marked as any particular brand. It only has two US patent #'s. I think it was probably made in the late 90's. It looks like the ones my boss had when I worked in carpet cleaning back then. Anyway I had a hunch that the Chapin parts would be the go to for me. It's hard to get a good comparative look at the hardware up close unless somebody does a great repair video like this. Thanks a lot pardner! I will lube mine with vacuum grease, I think it holds up better than vaseline. But vaseline works fine, better than nothing that's for sure.👍

Great video, i am getting a leak at bottom of piston cover but it pumps and sprays fine. Im thinking maybe liquid is getting past the seal?
