I only first heard this important speech a few days ago - a version with Hans Zimmer's Time playing in the background. Chaplin's words instantly resonated within me... and I felt compelled to produce my own audio-video rendition.
The speech by Charlie Chaplin is taken from the movie The Great Dictator, made in 1940. It was Chaplin's first true talking motion picture (he was best-known as a silent movie actor).
The song is called Who We Want To Be, by Tom Day.
