I'm glad I went and found this demo on your channel. The Chapman upload has something weird about the sound, making it harder to judge. Might be just my illusion, but on your channel this Semi Hollow and the Pro Traditional are much more comparable, and the Semi Hollow sounds nicely chimey while the Traditional sounds very "direct" of sorts. Also, meanwhile I went and listened to a few P90 and Tele videos in general. Really wanting this Semi Hollow now. Thanks for your efforts and the friendly replies on the other video. :)

Thank you, happy to help, and pleased you found the video useful. I'll have to have a look at the sound in the other one and see if I can work out what's going on there. Any other questions in the meantime please let me know :)

GOTH105 - YES indeed. An astute comment - this is an important window on the Chapman Traditional - esp. The Srymour Duncan P-90's- great sounding and vastly under-represented in the various videos covering the "Chapmen" - well done!

Looks like a nice guitar mate, I like the carved top on it, that’s a nice touch with the through neck. Did it take long to adjust to from your JV Esquire and Strat?

Thanks mate, I think it felt different enough that it was far enough away from those that I wasn't really thinking about it. It's more with guitars that a pretty close spec wise to what I'm used to but with a couple of spec differences where I notice a conscious adjust if that makes sense
