where did you get those spacers at for the chain adjuster bolts??????
@gonadiator7 ай бұрын
Great video, except dunno why you would adjust the wheel all the way back on the swing arm with the new chain. Typically you do the opposite, adjust the wheel all the way forward so you can keep adjusting it tighter as the chain loosens over time.

Hello, there may be a little confusion here. Go back and watch where Larry starts adjusting the chain--about the 20:26-25:04 mark. The axle/axle blocks are not all the way back, there is still room for adjustment as the chain stretches.
@gonadiator7 ай бұрын
23:10 you're right, it's not all the way back, but only 3 notches left.

24mm for Yamaha 12mm for honda

The case saver needs to crush and fail. Those 6mm bolts will fail and take the cases with them with the stronger "case saver"!

@@chaparralmotorsports Very informative video. I had a rider from the Denver area call me with questions about installing his front sprocket on his YZ450F. I didn't feel confident about giving him advice since I didn't have one in my face. I told him I would do some research and get back to him. I found this video and sent him the link. It explains everything he needed to know in detail. Motorcycles have put food on my table since 1969 but there is always something to learn. I have ordered from Chaparral many times over the years and have absolutely no complaints. Thank you.
