This is just at Uphill walking distance from "the grand leony resort" at Vagator. Hotel "W" is visible just beneath from this fort. Ruined fort but worth visiting. I visited in 2018. Thanks for covering, memories relived. 👍👍👍👌🙏

Chapora Fort was the main storage area for goods arriving and leaving Portugal, the deepwater port just below the fort was one of the only deepwater bays in the river where the ancient wooden galleons could berth, There is an old cut path running directly from the fort to Chapora harbour. Now it's just for fishing boats as the silt has built up and no depth anymore, Visitors make the mistake of trying to walk down to Dream beach from the fort but it ends in rock cliffs and very dangerous, a few have been injured trying, so don't go that way.

T-shirt because of my camera. If I use any other color unfortunately it doesn’t focus on my face and I end up with a weird looking video where my skin looks orange 😂 I still have to figure it out! And so sad that tourists have made an absolute mess of the place.
