I show you my accommodation, we rent a Royal Enfield, we check out the beach and we do market shopping.
Unforunately my gopro died in the water and we also go on an afternoon adventure to find a new one.

I was also stuck on the couch until 1 month ago, but I had to break that cycle, because it was getting darker and darker. I am not saying it’s easy and I feel very privileged to be able to pack my bag and travel. But doing something again, moving my body and keeping my brain busy has been very beneficial. I've been to Goa 1. Time in 1972 - what a difference, then no fullmoon or beach parties, no bars, only small groups of people with live music and maybe one or two real restaunts, no hawkers - thanks for the insight!

For me the best beaches are in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Laxadweep islands of India. Tarqez water , white beach , blue sky , coral reefs just wow heaven. I'm not saying that Goa , Kerala and coastal India or Digha , Manarmani and Puri beaches are bad but not the best . For me cause lots of people, chaos , pollution, not that clean water beach and water, but i like Digha it has theme 2 parks and Science city, and markets but still not my favourite, my love for those two islands. 😅

Hi Gabi, hope you can visit the interiors of Goa on your bike. There is an ancient stone temple at Tambdi Surla. You will probably visit Palolem beach in Canacona as well. Drive safe because the "normal" rules of the road dont apply. That Enfield has flags which are common in Ladakh and Himachal.

Hey Gabi, your way of vlogging is so good and the issue which happened with your gopro, I also faced the same during my recent trip to goa. You can get your gopro replaced if it is under warranty, As mine was in warranty and I got it replaced in 10 days.

That’s good to hear. My gopro was only 1 year old, I bought it in Vietnam because I also broke the previous one in the water (that time it was my fault) But I guess to apply the warranty you need the receipt? I don’t have it anymore…

Your vid reminded me of my trip to Goa. I rented an Enfield and bombed around, it was great. I worked my way south to Palolem, and just loved it there. It wasn't as commercialized as the north is, but both were great. You should take the overnight bus to Hampi. Awesome!!

I wasin Arambol first time 1992, than again 2002 at this time a italien guy had a big pizzeria ther and it every day was full of people, later it was not the same again i think some local people take the business. I came again 2006 and than last time 2015 / 2016, i was lucky had a russian girlfriend, she was one of the very less open russians there. It was a nice time stayed around one month in december and came back in march when the close all guesthouses and restaurants in Gokarna. In that time the start also to dismantle all in arambol but there was still a lot of people there but not so overcrowdet like in the high season. I am shocked hen i see the exploding price in this time, 2016 i had this very good big room in a real house of bricks for just 500 Rupees. I was 12 times in india and the last time 2018 i hope one day i can go again but now i plan to live in indonesia with my wife, she is from there. Lucky that it is not so much far from india.😊

Wow I am shocked. But it is expected. They call it progress. Last time I visited was in 2001 for 6 weeks. It was a very beautiful tranquil place before they built the bridge. Nice community very rural not so many people. Thanks for sharing I will not be going back. The same has happened all along this coastline.

If you drop a device in water. especially salt water you must immediately remove the battery. Then dismantle and clean with a brush, kitchen paper and strong isopropyl alcohol. Once clean and dry you can then try to restart. You may need to discard the battery, if any water got inside the battery corrosion could be difficult to clean off but it might work, you have to try and see, clean and dry inside the battery if possible even if it means putting it back without the casing and just with electrical tape which is not advised as lithium batteries need protection against punctures

We stayed in a little house that had a huge pink panther smoking a joint painted on it 😂 that was one of the few places renting rooms around that time. I had my own can`t believe Goa now 3 years ago. I first visited Goa, mainly Benaulim 40 years ago and went back in 2020. Back in 82 there were 2 shacks at the end of the beach road with maybe seating for 30 people between them. Prawn curry and rice was r/s 12 and a beer was r/s 16. Also a good many fishermen living on the beach in communal huts where 15 or 20 families would live in two long palm leaf huts. To say Benaulim has changed would be a slight understatement and this Brit is happy to have revisited. However, progress there comes at a cost in many ways.

Goa the jewel of Indian love the place, I was there many time back in the early 90s mainly stayed in Colva near Margoe, evenings spent at Mathews Kentukee bar,and daytime at the Suckarina beech restaurant, miles of white soft hot sand, it was very quiet then, but now it's become to popular and busy, you could survive on a few 100 rp a day, and the vodka was cheaper to buy than the orange to go with it, another quite beech was Palolem "can't remember the spelling" we called it paradise beech, went back about 1999 it had completely changed with huts, bars ect along the tree line.

When we see people like you coming from Italy coming and enjoying its really make me think how good the nature is in Goa. I've been in some beaches in Europe i didn't really like the beaches😊. Haven't been to Itlay. Did you see the ladies selling local produce which is almost organic. I cant belive you showed that aswell whivh was good to see.have fun Bro. Last few times I went to Arambol they had evening market on the beach with bits and bobs by tourists. That was quite nice. The strangest thing for sale was Russian lard. Some interesting artsy stuff as well.
