Hi! I'll be honest I'm not very vocally knowledgeable, but if you're self-taught like me, then I feel that the best method of training is to record and listen back. (Without a coach/person to listen, you gotta be your own critic 🕵♀). I'd listen to my recording and I'd realize, "oh wow some of that was rly bad/unstable/off-pitch/sharp, etc." and I'd try my best to fix it by playing around with my larynx placement, using nasal cavity, and breath control. I struggle with pitch, so I listen to the song/notes a lot so that I remember what I'm supposed to sound like. But as for that end note of this cover...lol I kept screaming it in the car until I could finally hit it and just hold it for a couple seconds. 😂Then when I was recording I kept telling myself 'ok you can do it you can do it' lol. To be real, this cover took me many takes bc I kept messing up the piano/forgetting the words/vocal mistakes. But anyways, I hope that helps! (PS, I would do a before and after but...I'm too embarrassed lol😆 But I do still have some covers posted that aren't great, so u can totally check them out and compare)
