Camped there once, and whilst rousting about found the remains of a plane crash on Bowfell.. Wasn't too long after the crash so the tail section was pretty intact.... There was also a sheep carcass in the wreckage which initially quite startled my teenage self at the time.... !!!

Such a soothing voice. It often seems men from up North tend to have annoying squeaky twangs, but not Glenn, nice deep voice yet soothing with it. And the beautiful landscape to boot.... just need the cute doggo back!!! 😀 41:31

Great video, if I have any financial capacity I would love to support your magnificent work. You seem like a guy who prefers small crowds and just going for adventures that provides an escape from the harsh reality. I wish I can afford such option but for now, by watching you beautiful lad, I get to experience what its like and it almost made me tear up. I want to explore the gift of nature, hopefully soon I can do it.

I am also a photographer, but no photos for me, I am simply enjoying the moment. - Thank you, from Ontario Canada

16:25 yep, that is true. But not only wildcamping. Where I'm from and I do get a chance to stand in fron of massive peaks of big drops, where nature reminds you that you are nothing. It shatters your ego, removes all the problems and you get in a almost like a meditative state. You can really feel that primal connection with the nature and that you are a part of it.

After discovering your channel earlier this week, I've been watching one of your videos every day. This was the 2nd one I watched, but felt compelled to watch it again as this one really resonates with me. The light nights - which unfortunately, are already slowly on their way out - the beautiful weather - which we haven't exactly had a lot of these last couple of weeks - the peacefulness and those incredible views. Even that particular area where you camped seems weirdly familiar to me in some strange way. I'm not even a camper, but I love this content and will continue to watch. Cheers!

Crinkle Crags is the lumpiest mountain I have ever been on. But those views of Langdale and the Scafell Range are amazing- while seeing the southern side of Bow Fell reveals a craggy-like rib section (full of grooves in rock face) which I have seen nowhere else in the Lake District.

Loved the video. As you were walking there, I was wondering how do you even start to have the experience needed to wild camp in such a location - then you went on and explained how to go about doing it. I too worry about spiders getting in the tent, I would be ultra careful when it comes to opening that zip to stop them getting in I think :). Looks a lovely rejuvenating place, thank you for sharing your chilling time with us.

What a delightful place - the absolute quite and the wildlife (that are not predators) just a few meters away would be a brilliant memory. However, I have just learned something about myself by watching this video: I, personally, like water when camping! I always knew that I loved it and that it fuels my soul, but it wasn't until I saw this snowless and barren landscape that, as beautiful as it is, I realized that it is not for me. :-O
