question: why is the blood osmolarity higher. If he's dehydrated, why not lower osmolarity? @3:00

One way to think about it is the word "de-hydrate" is to "remove-water." By removing water from blood you'd have relatively more salt in blood as a result. More salt = higher osmolarity
