You need to log into the WAP configuration; most modern WAP's will let you use a web browser so just put the default gateway (you can pull it off your computer using ipconfig in command prompt) into a web browser. You may have to use a wired connection to access it. Older equipment you may have to use telnet to connect but I doubt you'll run into that. You may have to lookup the default username and password for the manufacturer but it's often administrator and password or some other easy setup for default. From there every router is different but it should be on the main WAP configuration page or tab.
