Chapter 16, The Fall of the House of Ahab, OT with DA Part 2

In this session we cover chapter 16 of Prophets and Kings. Prophets and Kings was first published in 1917 and covers biblical history from the time of Solomon through to the end of the Old Testament. This is "Part 2" of OT with DA because we've already done Part 1, Patriarchs and Prophets. If you haven't already followed along with that reading challenge, please do! I think you'll love it! My word was Inlightenment, if there is a word. I'm a little behind . But this chapter was so good. It was dark yes but if we heed the warnings signs we are Happy in the Lord. Thank you for this chapter study. You turned it into a very good study. I have so many favorites.

This was a good study! I have to say that I was shocked that David didn’t talk about how God, delayed the calamity pronounced upon Ahab because he humbled himself, 1 Kings 21:29. It shows forth God’s mercy to mankind when they invest in evil, but then humble themselves. I have always thought his humiliation must have been real or else God would have immediately destroyed Ahab and company. It reminds me of Manasseh’s repentance. I understand that time was short today. Thank you for going through these studies.
