These are amazing, thank you! I feared taking up the silmarillion because of the way the lord of the rings was written with so much detail, but i find that the listening of it is easy because of how it flows like poetry. Thanks again for doing an amazing job to make this more accessible, i know someone visually impaired that is all too happy they can get the lore now because of your work

You have to wonder why they didn't just live further south. They literally made their Kingdom right on morgoth's doorstep needless to say leaving valinor probably wasn't the best idea

It was a siege. The siege of Angband which lasted for centuries, broken here. There was no safety while Morgoth Bauglir labored in the depths of Angband. The oath of Feanor drove them from Valinor. Fingolfin grudgingly followed his older brother into exile. Feanor once held him at swordpoint in Valinor itself. Have you read the Silmarillion?

What are your thoughts on the rings of power so far? seems pretty mediocre...

True. Somehow I can survive the story, but the faces of the characters, not at all. I was so sad when I saw elves how old are they and have short hair. I expected much younger elves with long beautiful hair 😢

@@PamkoElessar my thoughts are similar. The story is tolerable, mediocre. Same with acting. Visually it has its moments and the soundtrack by bear McCreary us pretty good. The next 3 episodes however are probably going to have action scenes and I am a little nervous about it given the costume designs. The orcs look good at least.
