2:04 They probably are anchor spikes, but could be used as weapons. what I like alot about the scrapechanic bots is that each bot and the the "weapos" they atack/kill you with are designed for being functional for completing specific tasks outside going on a murderous rampage its just the bots were "corupted" and use them as such, it explains why they are so manny as the automated factories can just make hundreds of bots and are probably whats causing the creation of corupted bots.

Considering the fact that they're moving out of early access, we can expect the update to either come out in the next month and a half or so, or next summer, the latter of which is probably more likely. It doesn't really make sense to release a game during the start of the year

I hope that the miner bots are rich in component kits. If ever there was a bot to be filled with them, it would be a flying one. Just wishing here. I'm also surprised that you didn't notice the drift it was setting up in the first GIF. "I wondah if you know! If you live in Tokyo!"

You guys could do a 2v2 M.M cardboard fort battles with fire being a big aspect of the battles, having to put out fires as well as attack each others forts would be entertaining.

Lol, you're already prepared for the UV pots. Load up the deck of your boat with them and park it out in the middle of the water. Should only have to worry about tote bots swimming out to you.

When Kosmo started talking about building a fire truck, my first thought was wow that sounds cool, I wonder if they will have a high pressure hose so you can reach fires now. As water pumps, don't have too much range or speed for putting out fires unless they intend to have a decently large splash range. However a high power hose head would be cool regardless. If they think it's too OP could make it destroy plants but not soil so it could water first before planting.

I want to tame Bots and have them have different functions like having the tote bot follow you around and act like a little inventory, the hay bot harvesting crops when they are done for you,and the tape bot being a lethal gaurd turret

If you want bots on your side look into the pokemon mod from DrPixelPlays. He aranged that you can catch bots with balls and release them to fight on your side. Doc has made a youtube video about this mod.

sounds all nice, but I fear those new features and gimmicks will eat away the performance gains .. which is bad, I really need a considerable performance boost for this game as its currently very limiting when it comes to complexity of creations which aint welded down. very frustrating for nomad gameplay in survival and raft custom game

For your next scrap mechanic build you should build like an AA gun on a truck or something so when you go mining or cutting wood you dont get bombed from above

Ah, so of course chapter 2 would release scrap mechanic from early access. That takes all responsibility off the devs, they can add DLC now, and they can just pass the rest of development off to community modders. This doesn't surprise me. They finally release survival after YEARS and then years later eventually release the 2nd major content update top their empty game and wash their hands of it. Bah, of course.

At the crash site, it talks about building a ship and leaving the planet. And there is a spaceport with an obvious spot to build a ship. But now it looks like the quest system to get there won't happen.
