Just finished the first lesson in Macroeconomics, and it was a fantastic course! It's the best one I've encountered so far( including video courses and books). I look forward to more of your economics courses (such as Monetary Economics, as I'm considering the possibility of designing economic systems for web3 or web4). A spontaneous thought: What will be the ultimate form of human economics? Could it be that the highest level of economics is the absence of economics itself? This might be because everyone seems to have superpowers and can be self-sufficient. The Bible seems to mention this kind of economic state for the future. Or, if a super AI could be realized, some say there would no longer be a need for economics.

Why GPD was not affected? when I buy a foreign car cost 20000, the Consumption increase 20000 but also the Net export decrease 20000 . So my question is that in what case does Import affect GDP?

We need to remember that GDP is a measure of output.It does not necessarily mean an improvement in welfare.

Glad you're enjoying the videos. Turns out that neither party has a monopoly on dishonesty. It's also the case that many politicians have no idea how taxes actually affect a market. This is true for both republicans and democrats.
